Gday Paul Thanks for your input mate. This video is just a demonstration on the functionality of the machine that was all. Cheers mate Hope you’re well.
In midwest US here and recently got a local made 30ft roller crimper, was surprised that it doesn't lift when in field configuration. How important do you feel that it is to have full frame raise and lower, such as when turning on the ends? I suspect this one they assume you'd roll after planting (talking to the company owner, that's what he does on his personal acres) so leaving it lowered and rolling on the turns is not an issue with direction of how the material lays. But I could see if rolling ahead of planting, this full frame and wing lift design you show here would be preferred.
Should clarify they omitted wing wheels, so it has walking tandems under the center section that raise and lower, but nothing to raise wings unless you raise wing hydraulic... simple design I suppose.. but interesting choice nevertheless. I'll probably be the only farmer within 30mi with a roller so it'll be quite the new experience for plant 2023.
Hi This is just a visual demonstration of functionality of the machine. Also - Our machines do not compact the ground at all, in fact our machines have absolute minimal disturbance and tilth of soil.
That’s doing absolutely jack squat
Hey Kim
