Thank you so much for keeping track of those products for us. Can really do a good shopping list by checking your videos out, which is good for the Players, DMs and the Authors. So YAY for the whole of the Greyhawk Community!
Excellent work Mr. Bloch, I appreciate you keeping us up to date on what is coming out, not only from you but all the Greyhawk community. It is very much appreciated.
Thanks for the kind words on the Classic Greyhawk Guide. I'm especially proud of that one as we wrote it in 2 weeks total from seeing the DMG 2024 entry, picking our collective jaws off the ground (seriously if this is faithful with a few liberties, I worry for those 3 guys in the promo video's wives) and going, "Fine - but if they'd asked me to write that section, here's what I would've done." The aim was to use pretty much the same structure as the DMG, without going near the Free City stuff since that was largely fine.
Thanks for the call out for Tales From Greyhawk. For some context, you're a bit right about how long we've used Greyhawk. One of our authors has used it for about 20 years, but was never as invested in the lore. I began getting into it a few months before writing this, which I did over the course of 3 months. We will be releasing an update to it soon and will be sure to update the spelling of Pomarj and look at updating the map of Hommlet. If there's anything else that stands out to you, let me know. I'm happy to make some corrections. As for some missions not feeling like Greyhawk, I definitely understand the sentiment. The idea started out as doing a "Factions of Greyhawk" book like some of our other best sellers, but we also wanted to pay homage to a bunch of classic modules, while being unique. We wanted to have the option of it being a large 5e styled campaign with a big singular villain while also being able to work where each adventure can be run independently. I think overall we succeeded, but to be honest I'm not the happiest with how it turned out. I think it's well worth the price for the amount of content and quality. But I have no intention in trying to tie 21 adventures together as a single campaign and as individual adventures again.
Hi Noah! Thanks so much for commenting, and for your forthrightness about the book. I would be more than happy to help consult on some of what I perceive as weaknesses. You can reach out to me directly on Facebook, through here on YT, or on the email address listed on my website. I just want everything Greyhawk to be the best it can be, and am more than happy to help.
DMs Guild is has a special licencing agreement with Wizards of the Coast that allows publishers to use some of their IP, settings, etc. In return, WotC gets 20% of the sales. On DriveThruRPG, you can't publish anything for editions other than 5E, and cannot use their setting IP. So no Greyhawk, Forgotten Realms, Ravenloft, etc. It's a trade-off.
No, it's 20% of the sales price, but I personally believe it's worth giving them a little slice in order to influence the way newcomers see the setting. See my previous video on hating WotC and loving Greyhawk on that particular subject. th-cam.com/video/L9uR7ps24Fg/w-d-xo.html

PLEASE KEEP DOING THESE INTROS! We appreciate and value your reviews and input GG!
If the community keeps producing books, I'll keep buying and reviewing them. 🙂
Nice summary of new material. Definitely getting Free City of Greyhawk: Encounters and Rumours, if edition neutral, the more likely I will purchase.
Hey there
Is there a greyhawk guide to factions and guilds and so on?
What is the difference between drivethru and dms guild
DMs Guild is has a special licencing agreement with Wizards of the Coast that allows publishers to use some of their IP, settings, etc. In return, WotC gets 20% of the sales. On DriveThruRPG, you can't publish anything for editions other than 5E, and cannot use their setting IP. So no Greyhawk, Forgotten Realms, Ravenloft, etc. It's a trade-off.
You know, by putting things on DMs Guild, you are giving half of your money over to WotC.
No, it's 20% of the sales price, but I personally believe it's worth giving them a little slice in order to influence the way newcomers see the setting. See my previous video on hating WotC and loving Greyhawk on that particular subject.

Are these all geared towards 5E?
Everything on DMs Guild is required to use the latest rules.
Joe needs to run a GoFundMe to replace his creaking bookshelves.
Or his sparking iPad/Android tablet/laptop/crystal sphere of document viewing.
Bah! I like paper.
@@GreyhawkGrognard You replace the old bookshelves so you can hold more books.
@@GreyhawkGrognard If you're printing all these out we'll be able to see you from orbit thanks to the deforestation around you!
