Hi Jules, some of those images reminds me of a trick I read and tried out many years ago in the film days. The Idea was to attach a UV filter and then take some Vaseline and smear it around most of the filter except the center to have the center of the photo sharp. I tried it with mixed results and never did it again. Have you ever read or tried that?

@@leod1671 Hi Leo, never with Vaseline, but I did use colorless nail polish on a clear filter leaving the center open.
