Love the Asian readathon idea! ❤
Yes! I want to find more like this one :)
I added SO MANY books to my trb after browsing the storygraph lists, there are so many gems out there.
Those are really ambitious goals hahaha, I chose 1 book for each prompt but made sure that even if I read 3 of them I still complete the readathon
That is probably wise ^^ Definitely wiser than my current situation! I have some vacations planned in May, so I'm hoping this will allow me to get to some of those at least, but yeah, it seems unlikely I'll complete the list. I just like to have many options to choose from XD
I have waaaay too many books added to my tbr and don't know which ones I'll end up reading. But so far I read two short novels by Korean authors: Nowhere to Be Found by Bea Suah and Walking Practice by Dolki Min, as well as On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong, which I really loved.
I had been in a reading slump for years and got back to reading a month or two ago thanks to audiobooks. I'm not sure how long I'll be riding on this wave of crazy reading before I crash but challenges like Asian Readathon keep my dopamine hungry ADHD brain happy and still going.
Also, I live in Warsaw and Tajfuny is my favorite bookshop
Audiobooks are amazing for reading slumps (and in general) -- I'm so glad they're helping you get back into reading :) Let me know what else you pick up for the Asian Readathon!
Tajfuny is such a great bookshop, I loved it!
Great info and recs! I will probably not do all prompts, but I’ll keep in mind to include some Asian books in May! I have Bandit Queens and a few others that I think would count, so I’ll have look and see 😊
Also did you say you have no shelf control? 😅 I don’t know if that’s like established booktube lingo, but if not, it should be
Ahah, I don't know how spread out it is, but I didn't come up with it myself (I wish I had! It's so good!). I saw it on a sticker once and it suck with me (pun intended 😂)
@@Curious-Cat Hahaha puns all around 😅
