Thanks for letting me poke around your work in the hangar and pester you guys with questions about your planes and your low/slow type of flying while we were weathered in with you guys at Yankton. You all truly showed how nice the pilot community is, no matter what you fly. Thanks for the videos.
Never boring because it’s very cool seeing kinda behind the scenes videos. A lot of ppl like to see how you prepare and what happens when your on the ground. Keep up the really great work Trent. Really good job
Hal is a great guy, met him a couple years ago at Osh, he gave my daughter a ride in his plane. Thanks for the video info Trent, hope to be there Sunday or Monday and meet the rest of you guys!
NOT boring at all! I totally get how hard it is to pull something like this off, let alone on a daily basis. And of course you have all the other things going on to safely plan the flight. Thanks very much for your efforts!
I'm at the HOPE hacker conf this weekend in my home town NYC. It's one of the largest gatherings of radical computer geeks in the world. The event is all about demystifying computing hardware and software and showing the uninitiated how things really work. But for me the event is really about seeing old, making new friends and teaching each other the tricks of the trade that improve the experience and yes, make the world a better place. Yourself and others in your community are really the same just doing it with airplanes. Y'all on a similar trajectory and motivated by the same goals. Keep on keeping on and I'll keep clicking on. It's all good. Cheers.
I found your channel around 30 minutes ago and spent the last 30 minutes watching it non-stop. Amazing TH-camr with unique and quality content. Deserves more subscribers. Keep it up!
I thought it was cool of you to introduce us to Hal !! He and his creativity into the making of his plane is awesome. Hope he does well at Oshkosh!! As well as the rest of y’all!!! Peace out bro!!
You have to be in my top 3 people who influence my channel! Love your flying/vlog style videos. Can't wait to make bigger and better videos like yours!
I'm not a vlog fan but these have been off the charts and I doubt I'm alone when I say this. But thanks for making it happen. People always say STOL planes are worthless for cross country, But you're blowing that out of the water. Once again the Kitfox crew really came through. It's nice to see a company that values their customers. Last but least is thanks for going over Al's plane. He really seems like a wealth of knowledge and a great guy to have around.
I really like this series you are doing, it's great to see your journey as it happens. We know it's alot of work to do these while you travel but seeing you and your friends going through it together among many of your other videos have showed me that getting into aviation could be a reality and doesn't take hundreds of thousands of dollars to get into. Just the right people and attitude. Keep up the great work!
Seriously Trent, your videos are great. Very well shot and edited and very entertaining. Never boring, always interesting, and so cool to "hang out" with you!
Just subscribed yesterday, and I'm lovin' this low and slow to Oshkosh. Makin' me quite jealous, and quite inspired to one day do the same. Thinkin' about building an Excalibur here in the next couple years. Rock on, Trent. Huge thumbs up from Emmett, Idaho.
Thank you for sharing your video's every day!! I love em! Nothing boring in them by the way! Have a nice and safe trip to and from Oshkosh! Hope to be there some day. Greetings from the Netherlands.
Thanks again Trent for an awesome video, still jealous but I'll get over it. Thanks for doing a little one on one with the guy's and there plane's. Clear sky's and tail winds.
I just started trying to shoot my flying and the editing is a killer. Thanks for your efforts to bring us along on your journey - it's much appreciated. Fly safe!
I couldn’t swing Oshkosh this year, but riding along with you guys is definitely the next best thing! Thanks for taking on the additional workload of a daily vlog - it’s very much appreciated!
Hassan Deer - I move around all of Eastern Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, South Sudan and Somalia. Fuel availability varies as does pricing. Most rely on fuel from either Wilson airport in Nairobi and Entebbe in Uganda if you have the range. Hope that helps
David InAfrica ah I see. I am originally from Somalia but grew up here in the US. It has always been my dream to get General Aviation going in Somalia. I have not assesed the situation yet but most airports havent been attended to since the 1990s.
Hassan Deer - General Aviation is growing in Somalia. Major improvements have been made to the airports in Mogadishu, Bosasso, and Hargiesa. Unfortunately, there is still a major need for ground handling and maintenance. A lot has changed in the country over the past 10 years.
Thanks for the update Trent. Love the videos and all the fun you all are having along the way. Safe travels and can't wait to see when you get to Oshkosh.
Hi! I just love to see the progress of you guys. It feels like beeing part of it. And - in a way - we are, aren't we? One of the coolest things I saw this year! Greetings from a hot Vienna, Austria. Michael
I think you should name Scott "Scott the Exhaust" i never saw anyone changing that many exhaust.Lol it became natural to him.I love your videos.I use to fly 18 years ago Zenith 601, then some gliders after i got a paraglider. After 2 crashes wife said no more flying ,so i sold my paraglider and gave up flying. Now i purchased a Harley Davidson and turned in to a Harley guy.We do similar adventures like you guys but on the bikes. Now your videos getting me motivated to get back to flying.Lol
I know it’s a lot of work, but really appreciate the effort. I look forward to each and every one. You make the non-flying vids interesting and educational. Thank you. See you at Osh!
