After the measurement you should do a drag race for the end. Then you can connect the stats and what actually happens on the road. Would be very interesting! 😌

I'm got confused when it was the Urus performante's turn because he actually did run it on the Lamborghini Dyno Drag race video so it wasn't surprising
Great video. I like that you covered in the end the fact that peak hp is not everything. It's really the area under the hp curve throughout the power band that matters most in a straight line acceleration. That's why one tune could be better and faster than another tune that has slightly higher peak hp.
I do enjoy this new Series on Carwow. It's always interesting to see which Brand & Model turns out to have more HP & more/less weight than claimed Same when Matt does the 0-60mph Times in which the German Brands always outperform what they put on Paper. BMW especially, while other Brands often turn out to be slower than they claim Prost & Cheers from the Alps
@@Randomdude21-e You are good brother. I understand that you drove these cars, why do you give this opinion. You hear RS6 slower, RS4 slower. I can say the same about M4, M5, M6, X5, X6

The X5M had heavy custom wheels on it. The Porsche owner said on camera that it had some performance modifications to it and all 4 cars had about 20hp more than the manufacturer stated which can only mean that the equation used to calculate the power at the flywheel is wrong.
I don’t understand how the dyno guy calculated horsepower at the crank from the hp at wheel figure. I am assuming the car is tested in neutral for the power calculation with engaging the transmission. But then you still need the torque to find the power @ specific rpm.
I was surprised to see that the Lamborghini Urus Performante had more power than the Cayenne Turbo GT, but they both had very similar weight. Porsche must has better traction off the line (launch control) or maybe it's just the fact that Mat was behind the wheel when he drag raced these 2 S.U.V.'s a couple of months ago?
It’s always like that. The Porsche is always the least powerful car but 95% of time also the faster car. The car is just generally better engineered and that make the difference I think

The size of the aftermarket wheels on the BMW definitely add an extra ton
