This does a pretty good job explaining Takumi's point of view, that I wish was in the game. I also didn't realize how much Takumi looks up to Ryoma and actually wants his attention Though it makes me wonder what if it was female Corrin, since it wouldn't make sense for him to be jealous that he's no longer Ryoma's only little brother...
Dang this should have been in the game Takumi's quiet enterance would make more sense. And Corrin is actually aware in the CD. Like he actually seems to understand that his appearance is suspicious. And he even defends Takumi's opinion to Ryoma.
Man, this is actually providing really good detail, helping us to understand Takumi especially, but even Corrin gets a bit of fleshing out too, at the end when he starts feeling guilty about everyone's kindness to him.
You know, while I accept Takumi's reasoning for why he would be hostile towards Corrin here and all like he was in the story, I do not condone how he was also being hostile towards Azura as well in the story.
I agree about Azura. Say what you will about Corrin, but Azura has proven that she's loyal to Hoshido and Mikoto first and foremost, and has lived with Takumi for years, so she should have earned his trust and love. In fact, even in Conquest, Azura doesn't join you until people from Hoshido call for her exile and she's take as a hostage by the Hoshidan soldiers you fight in Chapter 9.
No, you don't. Dammit Corrin, you don't deserve any of this, but all the time, we have to have that everything you say and do to be treated like god's orders. You were just a Mary Sue and a Kirito. Everyone loves you, you are perfect, and if you don't like Corrin, you have to be possessed by some demon or are just an evil person yourself. Here, I feel Takumi's insecurities, how such a big change is happening, and while he does want to get along with Corrin, the insecurities and the suspicion that Saizo had on Corrin being adopted onto Takumi, it's very understandable. Takumi deserved more.
Corrin's question is a nice moment of self-deprecation and humility that wouldn't be out of place in the game, particularly considering that Corrin assumes that s/he will be executed for the border raid. Many of those close to Corrin are those Corrin helped in the past(Silas, Jakob, Lillith, Kaze and Rinkah), or those who have long-standing ties with Corrin (the siblings), so it's understandable that if Corrin remembered so little of his/her childhood, s/he wouldn't grasp why everyone in Hoshido is so kind to him/her. As for those who don't trust Corrin, Corrin doesn't begrudge them for it, but simply hopes to earn their trust, so maybe the same can be said when it comes to those accusing him/her of being a Mary Sue.
I personally like Corrin as a character. He is stupid AF, but he's just so kindhearted and sweet, so I can't really hate him for it, nor the position he was put in (and his Japanese VA is cute). But how the story and the other characters treat him is horrendous. He is a sheltered adult in desperate need of learning how the real world works, yet all the other adults (whom should have been responsible in this situations) acts like he is always right and feed his childish and naive ideals. The only time you can see Corrin lose faith in himself for real is during the Conquest route. But even there, everyone else (even Azura, whom I think should have been the voice of reason) kept encouraging his illusion that he was doing the right thing. And I despise that. Takumi's fate in the Conquest route is so ridiculously unfair. Corrin's mind is that of a clueless child with a big, loving heart. The other characters should have taken that into account, but nope, they let him lead the freaking army, for no reason at all. Corrin was always in need of help in that sense, but instead of letting him grow as an adult, the other characters praise him and all his decisions like he's some saint. I do not blame Corrin himself for any of it! His older siblings should have been the ones to step up, but they never take Corrin's feelings into account. It's always an "us or them" they push on Corrin. Did they ever consider that the choice was actually difficult for him? Did they care that HE at least, viewed them all as his siblings? Well, apparently not! (Until the final route, but even then they took long enough to do ANYTHING for Corrin's sake. Except the little sisters of course.). I just... Feel bad for Corrin. I feel so bad for him, I can't hate him, nor blame him for anything. His "loving" siblings won't even listen to him. Takumi as well. Takumi deserved so much better. Which is why I kind of love the Takumi/Corrin dynamic. I feel like they are very good for each other in that sense. Sorry. Rant over. ^^;

I feel takumi is the main character anyone agree
Seconded.
Thirded
Takumi is actually the most logical character here
@Aikaterini Liakou Precisely.
Takumi is like, the character who I can relate to the most.
I don’t get why ppl hate him-he’s a really great character!
If anything, Takumi should have been the protagonist.

And then he's friendly in the supports conversations with her like??? Man?

Ironic cause corrins name in Japanese basically translates to “majesty of the gods”
HDL That's a unusual name to give to a mymrdion. (The Echoes one)

Axis
Soooo like every other lords in the series?
Now takumi being quiet first appearance makes sense
Ugh this one hit me right in the feels (/_;)
Ooh! So that explains why Takumi turned into evil one :D
4:09 Oh gods! The feels! The memories! Fire Emblem.
I thought Mikoto was poor,he just went to earn back the lost time with Corrin.But that happened in chapter 5.
Why take out takumi talking until mikoto dies in the game why
Wait Kaze's name in Japanese is Suzukaze?
6:48 me, after killing Shura in Conquest
Still 4 Hoshido
