Twenty four yrs ago my son of twenty four had a double horrific rd accident I know it's a dif situation he was in a coma for six wks no hope brain damage etc told he couldn't live hosp phoned me one day we are taking tube out to see if he can breath on his own I say if he can't please put it back they did he pulled through many many probs with him today but I still have him.he can walk and talk I thank Jesus every day but I've lost an adult daughter and adult son since x
I know the kid in the show aint dead, that wasn't my point. But anyone who's suffered a loss like this (especially a child) that's where it will hit home for them. Not to mention any storylines on TV that revolve around kids dying is always sad because u know . . . Its a child.
the main reason for these storylines is to make people aware of an issue, be it medical, mental health, bullying, rape etc. People become invested in the characters. Are you telling me you have never cried over a sad film or fictional book?
