Interesting opinion. I have a 95 model FD Rx7 with RZ Recaros and storage bins + RZ brakes powder coated red. I couldn't afford a Spirit R so I got an earlier 1 and fitted many of the good parts. But Spirit Rs will always hold more value. I do like the idea of being free to modify mine though and really improve it. I find they are very good stock but even better with some modifications. If you want a more "special FD" look in Australia we had the SP version which was a factory back homologation effort eith unique bumper, rear wing, wheels, carbon fuel tank and engine tuning! They are not well known outside of Australia but we're purpose built to beat Porsches.
I'm glad I still have my Spirit R, it's special to some of us. I saw the SP version 5 years ago, it looked unique and has 70L fuel tank! Was only around 70K back then too.
Sorry for being off topic. Remembered you mentioned MK3 focus rs in the other clips. I know it's an old car now, but will you still do a review on it in the future if you can get hold of one?
Actually all version 5&6 FD come with Nardi steering wheels. But Spirit R and RZ also come with red stitching. Hope you can give us a review of this car 🙏🏼

的確 Spirit R係零件大雜會，嗰個年代既JDM都係例牌Recaro+Brembo+BBS+Bilstein，呢啲外國品牌既零件都係喺佢哋各自界別入面最top，買哂返嚟裝晒上車就有賣點，呢啲好有機會係Marketing既決定多於工程師既決定。
不過你講到Spirit R引擎冇任何改良，其實轉子引擎唔同傳統引擎，生產上已經做到好精良，可以再改良既嘢已經好有限，況且原裝車要顧及可靠性同廢氣排放，所以索性唔改動性能係可以理解。
至放套避震...其實係咪柴咗先會咁差呢?
希望到2022年你可以揾到部狀態有你部Spirit R咁好既RX7，做你另一部project car!
