Hi.... What does "nfjrom" mean in D-Link DWR routers? Is it a bin file? I'm using Wireshark to see the recovery file it's requesting but I saw this message: "Read Request, File: nfjrom, Transfer type: octet".
I have Tenda AC10 and it's bricked. Now either the reset button doesn't work at all on this thing or whatever, I don't get any messages from router in Wireshark.
I bricked my D-Link DIR 825 (AC1200) v7.00 (Hardware G1) while Firmware upgrading it (manually) Now its boot method has changed , and WiFi Lights (2.4 GHz and 5Ghz) don't boot , neither do they work It seems i have to try to fix it this way...
Anyone using Windows 10 , perhaps even earlier, does not need to install TFTP software. It is built into Windows. You just have to enable it. Wireshark is also not needed. Try finding a video that is clearer and more accurate.
He used Wireshark to find what file the router is looking for and send that as the file via tftp for the router to see a match and accept it. Sometimes the default filename of the firmware does not always work. I do agree on the tftp but standalone works too
You're absolutely right the tftp64 doesn't work. Thanks so much for the video dude!
Thanks for your video, one extra thing I have done before I succeed to save my Tenda D301 is to to change the the Tftp port from 69 to 80
What was the ip you got for d301

how did you unbrick it? i have a x6 to flash dd wrt
Can you unbrick Mi router 4A router?
Unfortunately this didn't work on a D6400 netgear router. Guessing I'm going to have to tear it apart and upload it the other way.
What other way
