I’ve heard stories about that shelf trail but I’ve never ridden it. I’ve never had the desire to ride it either! I’ve ridden a lot of the other trails in that area, on various dual sport bikes, the most recent being my DRZ 400S.
Man you must have mountain goat blood in your veins! The pucker factor was very high whilst watching this one. Totally awesome, thanks heaps for sharing! 🙆♀👍😲
This is one of the best trails in this zone for a reason. The "backdoor" entry really limits the traffic, and it's a relative tough climb for the average rider. Definitely a lesser known top trail out there.
Wish I would have known you were in the area, I would have loved to pass you on the trail and tanked you for all your posts. As always, badass and thanks for posting.
Awesome camera work and a beautiful trail. I've been riding that trail system for the first time this past summer/fall and that particular trail we have purposely avoided as it is a little higher on the "oh sh..." scale for some of us. They say cameras just don't do it justice compared to being there, but holy smokes my butt was still puckering!!
It's a relatively short section of big exposure but not one you want to mess up on! I find it less intimidating going up those exposed sidehills than down.
I was just here for the first time last weekend and had a blast, instantly recognized the location in your thumbnail. The trails were a bit whooped out though and that got to be pretty annoying.
Minimal rocks, no dust, and fast, flowing track. It doesn't get any better. Edit - and then I watched the second half of the video😲😲 Is that a Sherco 500 you're riding? Greeting from Australia.
I find it frustrating to watch these trails being ridden and have no chance of ever riding them. The more trail riders out there participating in the hobby the better the chances of keeping trails open and expanding new areas. Plus tourism to nice riding spots help local economies. Is it a pessimistic view of other riders that you keep these trails in confidence? Cool vids, regardless. Cheers!
Thanks for watching and commenting. It's not hard to find information on most of the areas I ride, you just have to be willing to put in a little effort. For an explanation on some of the reasons I don't post locations publicly watch this video th-cam.com/video/XWvkW6FyUcg/w-d-xo.html
good mix of everything! Some nice stuff there i tell ya! You will have to come back up to my neck of the woods for a ride!
Oh wow talk about some eye candy scenery.

A guy died there a few years ago when he clipped the rock with his handlebars.

Another amazing video thank you what a wicked zone!! Looks so sickkk!!!
Glad you enjoyed it.
Great video. Love that “Backside” trail. Thanks for keeping these epic trails mysterious. Pure Hero Dirt for the last couple weeks!
Thanks.

Epic!!!
That gave me the willies!
Great footage Greg
Been several years since I've ridden there.
You got a perfect soil condition day!
Perfect dirt, perfect temperature!
Watching your videos has gotten me into doing more trail riding. Even signed up for the NMA for work parties !
Cant wait to get out their next year! Picked up a ktm finally.

Trails like this are why I cut down my handle bars.
I loved it until the 11:30 mark, then I was like "hell no"! Great video as always!

Hi, what kind of oil do you pour into the engine?
Motul 7100 10W40.
What a great trail! Not a babyhead in sight hahahahah!
Just rode this on Saturday. One of the best trails out there! Quality of this video is amazing btw. Is this with the new GoPro?
This is the original dji osmo action 3 which dji has since replaced as it had a faulty lens.
Awesome quality. Better than my GoPro 7 footage for sure@@PNWEnduro
The dji and newer GoPro cameras have 10 bit colour which is a big improvement in picture quality over the older GoPro’s.
I rode it Saturday too. If you saw a weirdo out there on a trials bike, that was me!
This footage is from around a month ago. Just after it got the first rains.

That guy on the KTM looks cool🤣👍🍊
@TechEnduro wait until I post the footage of the KTM guy trying out my Sherco 300SEF. Looks like he is having the time of his life!
