Usain Bolt vows 'never again' after emotional London farewell

  • Usain Bolt took an emotional final bow on the track at the end of the World Championships in London on Sunday before declaring that, definitely and definitively, there was no way he would ever return to sprinting. After embarking on a special lap of honour so slow that you could not believe that we were saying farewell to the world's fastest man, Bolt was asked by reporters already missing him whether he might ever change his mind. "No, I've seen too many people come back and make things worse and shame themselves. I won't be one of those people who come back," Bolt said firmly. (Video: SNTV)

    The world and the history never forgets the fastest man's continuous victory in sports. Unbelievable and unimaginable powers given by the God to the fastest man. I sincerely pray the God to give him the same powers to succeed in his future endeavours to produce an equally powerful and fastest sprinter in this world.

    I saw his world record when I was 3.. at that time... he was my inspiration and now that I'm 11 now and he is gone... I'm sad but hopefully I could become a future track and field runner. His record will live on in my generation and inside of me.

    Bolt is burnt out and lost the love of sprinting... He is a competitor and will be back when he is hungry again and has a new reason to compete but it will be when he is ready... Take a well deserved retirement (break) lol

    • @mythrin
      @mythrin 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Adrian Ace No im pretty sure he's retiring permanently. He once said it himself, he has nothing to prove if he continues to do track. He is already the worlds greatest, there is not much more motivation he has.

    • @AdrianKiglies
      @AdrianKiglies 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mythrintia that might be but you can't deny that champions like Jordan and Phelps said the same thing just to itch for the thrill of competition later. I hope he does he certainty has a lot of good years left in him. Either he is the GOAT of sprinting!

    GOOGLE
    Marion Jones was the first champion forced to confess what she didn't do.
    The climax for the Gitmo type of "confessions": Lance Armstrong, who otherwise would have been jailed and also stripped not only of titles but of everything.

      @mattmarriott6929 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      ONE world title out of TWENTY (11 at World Championships and 9 at Olympic Games) is all it takes to officially strip from Bolt what some falsely consider his ultimate milestone, the triple triple at the Olympics.

    • @mythrin
      @mythrin 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Cramps last as long as the muscle is contracted dumbass. Besides it wasn't just a cramp. The cramp ended up tearing his hammy, he has full proof with MRI scans online your stupid ass can check out. He did not fake it, you are not an athlete so you would not know shit.

    • @maamebrago319
      @maamebrago319 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Even though I'm not an athlete, I ran before and cramped up and had a hamstring pull. Thank you for that comment. I believe Bolt could've won because in 2016, his 100m time was 9.81 and 4x100m was 37.27. In 2017, he was a little slower and Bolt usually catches up near or over half the 100m. Mitchell Blake and Christian Coleman are slower, than bolt, even though Coleman beated Bolt in the 100m final in London, but that was because of Bolt's start. I believe Bolt's start in his final 4x100m was better than he ran in the 100m . Bolt was about to fully accelerate and has the "mid to end of the race advantage". So that's why I think Bolt was going to win the race, but everything isn't always predictable.
