Im a metal player but I LOVE playing over this backing track. Jamming thru penatonic shapes all over the neck and throwing in big gnarly bends. Its amazing fun. Playing the lead channel with medium gain and and a little delay and some reverb on my Boss Katana thru my Epiphone Les Paul is my favorite tone for this track. Ive probably spent 2 hours jamming over this over the last 3 days.
I'm in drop B tuning, and can still shred to this on the correct tonalities. Just find your root note, in this case E, apply the Pentatonic in this case minor, to find where you are at. Then express all over the neck getting creative and throwing in little embellishments. Or.... use a capo.
@luisalmeida3202 Bad bad advice, that is not the right scale to use in this setting. Please be careful and do some research before throwing wrong information out there willy-nilly. I like your enthusiasm but more work is needed, thank you.
