defending your least favorite office characters

I LOVE Gabe Lewis. He's such a funny character. Zach Woods plays his social awkwardness and eccentricities so well.
The reason that one of my favorites is because of how relatable he is and while he can insufferable, it was sad to see a some negative reception.

@@kachowtori Yeah, I posted something like that on a Tv Tropes website - (Gabe's personality as a stick-in-the-mud and a sad sack can be best interpreted as he's the combination of both Dwight Schrute and Toby Flenderson. Like both characters, he's socially awkward, intelligent, hapless and often gets ridiculed for his desperate attempts to uphold the rules. Like Dwight, he's an officious and sycophantic weirdo that other characters can't stand and they both arrogantly claim authority of all the coworkers even though they lack the requirements to be the respected boss and they come across as insufferable and like Toby, he's a insecure, pathetic and meek weakling that obsesses over the redheaded coworker and never gets a happy ending.)
You could tell that I was thinking hard about it.
