Dior Sauvage is a bit harsh and "metallic". A much better alternative is Prada Luna Rosa Carbon. It is much smoother and more natural.

Actually it’s better to just smell your own skin or some fabric. Coffee beans will saturate your sense of smell or change your perception of the next fragrances.
Olfactory fatigue. Perfumers use unprocessed wool. If you’re smelling the same scent for a prolonged period of time, or sniffing too many perfumes in a row, your odor receptors will habituate and stop sending those signals to your brain. This is officially called olfactory fatigue, and it explains why you might stop noticing a smell after a couple of minutes.
I wish Bleu De Chanel projected about more but it really is a masterpiece, classy, fresh fragrance!

That is not what introvert and extrovert means. I think you are trying to say something like Sauvage is for someone who is active in social interaction and Bleu de chanel more for a person who is more subtle. This is because Sauvage is much more aggressive scent than Bleu de chanel. Sauvage on a shy guy would seem wrong.

Both are excellent but chanel has that richness and elegance to it, to me sauvage is more of a daytime fragrance and chanel nightime, Im more into nightime fragrances

Sauvage is definitely the best smelling fragrance for the price but it’s everywhere you go you smell it when I first smelt it took my breath away I had to buy it but I bought it walked out and everyone had it on 😂
Why is it every time sauvage wins there’s always a put down afterwards and an excuse for the other scent? Not just this video but a bunch of comparisons with Dior. Most of us regular people just know what smells good and what does not. You also can’t rightfully say sauvage isn’t at least a little timeless because it’s already been around a long time and still winning these comparisons.
If you're going to compare the two, they should both be Eau de parfum -- not one being a less concentrate of Eau de toilette which has less concentrated fragrant oils.
But some people thought the EDT (Dior Sauvage) was stronger. Lol

Nope, not exactly. They could be compared in any way shape of form. Some actually thought the EDT of Sauvage was stronger. Some didn't think so, but liked the EDT more anyway. Perhaps this comparison could be a comparison of "the better flanker" for each product line respectively.
Your suggestion would make the comparison more "quantitative", but it serves no purpose in real life, because only the qualitative matters.
You have to do them individually EDT P EDP Dior / CHANEL and then the top 1 one from Each go Head to Head !
As a girl I prefer Sauvage, it smells more masculine and raw and I love the musky, spicy scent.
I'm a guy and I love sauvage, especially the elixir. I was able to smell Bleu De Chanel and it honestly smells more like a perfume I think.

I have both, for me i prefer bleu de chanel. I just finish my 2010 batch edt.
I've sampled both and I much prefer BDC. Sauvage to me seems to have this... almost like a violent amount of a pepper note which just chokes me out. BDC seems, as you said, more refined. To me it's just an overall better fragrance. I'm a man btw.
same but i think the note that chokes me out is ambroxan, they say sauvage is heavy on it its a chemical and it smells somewhat mettalic which isnt pleasant to my nose

The thing with fragrences is they smell different on skin, so smelling it on paper isnt really the best gauge
Chanel is a classic but Sauvage drydown takes it hands-down
exactly! Finally, someone who gets it. That's why I hate when cologne sales people spray cologne on a paper instead of on the skin - chemistry interaction is EVERYTHING when it comes to fragrance.

@@fluffytail6355 I think this is what has happened to me. Bleu and Sauvage are both nice on paper but bleu was awful on my skin while sauvage is nice gets me compliments. Also 1 million and Eros are my top pics for sweeter men’s fragrance. Both smell nice on paper but for some reason when I had Eros on skin is smelt ‘sour’ or a bit off in way but on paper it’s neck and neck with 1 million.

The lady at 01:52 nailed my thoughts on Sauvage. Its not necessarily the scent, but the type of person that tends to wear it. I immediately get a frat boy vibe from it no matter who is wearing it, and its almost always over applied by the wearer. 'Douchey' is pretty much my thoughts on it, too.
My favorite is Dior Suavage works perfectly for any enviorment

It's nice to watch this type of video when you own both 😁 I personally like a little bit better Bleu De Chanel as is more elegant, but in some occasions I do prefer Sauvage.
I own samples of both and I'm not sure i like it. There is a very noticeable smell or a character that both brands share that i only smell in those two out of all the colognes i have and I'm not sure i like.
For me the Bleu de Chanel parfum is much better than the EdP or the EdT !

Both fragrances are good, I am more inclined to Bleu de Channel. I wear Bvlgari Aqua almost all the time because I love it. I have Bleu de Channel and some others but Bvlgari aqua is my favorite, I don't care if women like it or not. If you wear something, wear it because you like it, not for others.
something about the sauvage dna just doesn't sit right in my nose, long wear of it will get my nauseous 😖 Chanel EDP however is a masterpiece. I dont think smell strips do it justice, I was never impressed by it until i wore it and then I fell head over heels in love with it. My favorite fragrance period!

@@bigdawg7718 It's pretty good bro. I got the EDT. It's not sweet at all in my opinion. Just very masculine. Its fresh and peppery. You must've tried either the EDP or The Parfum. They tend to be sweeter than the EDTs.

Kenneth Cole blue and black so cheap and so good..... Versace every kind is amazing.... Coach blue and the other 2 are amazing..... And jean paul G are all amazing .... Dior and chanel are very good but I can get 2 bottles for 1 of them...and for me that's what i want...i got all 3 coach for 150 or 1 of chanel blue....hmmmmmm...lol

Both fragrances I did purchase for my now ex-husband. I loved them. Yes the Sauvage is more of raw person. It will be for me very hard to decide.

I have both get compliments on them. The best one that gets the most compliments is my Jean P Gauthier Le male Le perfume. I have 11 different fragrances and these are my top 3.
Sauvage is a cologne that I would wear myself as a woman. It's all the scents that I love, spicy, sweet sexy...divine! I sometimes mix it with a womans perfume and the mix is so great.
My niece love to wear my cologne, bodyspray and uses my body wash.
More of these type of videos please!
Overall I prefer Sauvage, for professional settings(work/meetings) I would go with Chanel.

Blue is my fav color , and fav fragrance.
I own both, and can honestly say that I would definitely choose Bleu de Chanel. Blue de Chanel however is a heavy fragrance. It's not something you can wear often or in a casual setting. The occasion has to call for it. I really do however like Sauvage. It's a very spicey and formal cologne as well. However, out of the two, I would prefer Bleu de Chanel. It took me a long time to appreciate Bleu de Chanel. When I first purchased it, I wasn't too fanatical about it, however in time, I started to really, really love it. I would encourage people to purchase both, though. They're both extraordinary colognes and I would definitely say must-haves within any man's collection.

The Bleu de Chanel EdP is outstanding - also in colder days or when you go to the mall. The women around you will get fancy abt you, believe me
I have both Sauvage Edt and Bleu De Chanel Edp, and I prefer Chanel any day
I have the EDT version of both. Whilst I prefer the overall scent of BDC, being a bit more pleasant and classy - it does not project as well nor last nearly as long as Sauvage. Can’t go wrong with either

@@richymanzo9817 Not even remotely true. The difference between toilette and parfum is concentration. You can't have a stronger and longer lasting scent if the concentration is less of the exact same cologne
@@devinyIn theory yes, however sauvage edt projects and lasts longer than edp and parfum. Sauvage elixir lasts the longest but the edp actually lasts longer than the parfum but wears off quicker than edt so higher concentration doesnt always mean that it will last longer unfortunately.
@@deviny I second this, I live in tropical country. EDT performs better than EDP. OG wins this round.
The only issue with the research is that #1 not all men over spray and #2 cologne and perfume smells different on the body than it does on a sample or in the bottle. To be fair, next time do the same test, but have one sprayed on a man's left wrist and one sprayed on the right. That's a more accurate and fair comparison .
It all comes down how it works with your skin and personal body odor.
I have used both Blue De Chanel and Sauvage perfumes, both are good ones.. My vote is for Chanel even though it's litle expensive..

The incense+ grapefruit or a fresh note in general (like AdG profumo, dylan blue, l'eau d'issey intense) works really well. BUT also a fresh black pepper fragrance (which there aren't many) (pink pepper is more used like viking) works well. Dylan blue is really the best because it has incense+ black pepper+ fresh

If you like fresh black pepper you should check out Molton Brown's re-charge black pepper i've used it for years and get usually get compliments.
Dylan blue is too synthetic and cheap smelling.
BOTH are great. Both could be worn anytime, anywhere. I don't care I got both. Anyone caught a whiff of you would want more.

I have both Sauvage EDP and BdC EDT. Both are fantastic, but personally i like the smell of BdC more than Sauvage. I wish BdC could last longer than Sauvage.
Usually women prefer EDT for men because it's more fresh and less girly. You should redo this with EDt version of Bleu just for safe measure hahaha.

Chanel bleu came in the delivery today and I have to admit it reminds me of a nice shower gel but in a nice way.
I’ve also received Chanel allure sport. Tom Fords Vetiver, and Arabian Knights from the fragrance house Arabian Oud and Silk Musk oil by Ajmal which I have to say Silk Musk is the perfect summer fragrance that’s long lasting. For example I was given a sample of Ajmal silk musk around 2pm on a Saturday I’d got home late in evening had a wash and went to bed and I have to admit I could still smell it on me the next day. 😉
Ajmal makes some great fragrances! Check out Alhambra for some incredible dupes as well including some well known and loved Parfum de Marly's.

My man, all blue fragrances smell like some iteration of shower gel lol.
Around a month ago I purchased a bottle of B d C Eau de Parfum.
It has a fragrance of just out the shower. I use it for daily living, shops etc.
I have other fragrances, but I wear Chanel more often now, I like the smell being subtle also

It helps people distinguish the difference between the smells if they smell the beans in between each scent
I think it's subjective in the same way different people like different dishes some people may prefer a stronger scent when the individual is Further away and the Milder sent when they're in close proximity

Perfumes smell different when are worn...i own both and i get more compliments from BDC , maybe cause it lasts longer, however both are amazing and you cant go wrong with either one

Never tested or owned BDC but I have DIOR SAUVAGE and I really like it.
I remember the first time I smelled Bleu de Chanel on a coworker of mine and loved it. It never smells the same after you own it and use it daily though.
I think it smells different on different people because of everybody’s unique body scent. It might also depend on where you spray it. If you spray it in your chest and under your chin, you might not get to smell all of the unique changes because your nose is burnt out by it. When you spray on the back of your neck, you don’t even notice it! …but others do 😉
So do you wear the same color of shirt everyday of the week? No? That would probably get boring. Fragrance is the same way.
I received sauvage parfum for Christmas, it is long lasting for close up, it smells amazing, I love it.
I have Dior Savage, but almost never get compliments. By far, the cologne I've gotten the most compliments on whenever I wear it is classic Versace.

bleu de chanel parfum is my favorite
I've had only negative coments on the Dior Sauvage EDT. Def suggestion a tiny drop if you use this otherwise it smells like you just Lysol'd the bathroom. Number 1 most possitive fragrance for me has been La nuit de l'homme. Again this is super strong so you only need a small bit.
I think I’d get both and I’d use Dior Sauvage when hanging out with the boys and Bleu when having a date with a woman.

Buy iridium by wild stone exact same smell like dior and spend rest of the money on building your personality. Good personality makes a smell more relatable in every sense.
