All I know it's been single digits where I am and my gamo fusion whisper is crazy loud . Compared it to when the gun was warm and ice cold .big difference
So...old-fashioned me is better off using my gas piston breakbarrel rifles with open sights? I have Mantis and Center-point scopes; do those shift at all in the cold? Thanks, James.
I believe temperatures can effect everything. Especially if you shoot in hot weather in bright sunlight. Then try the same setting in freezing weather. 🥶
A fascinating experiment, may I add try to see if with just the scope alone shift with the cold or does it shift because all the metal on the air rifle is constraining together causing point of aim shift.
Hello, I love your video question: I have Benjamin Marauder. To decock the gun you have to hold the bolt and press trigger and let the bolt back slovely. In my case I pressed the trigger but didn't hold the bolt and it slammed back. Can gun be damaged or any components in this case? Thank You
Excellent video. 🎯 Perhaps the guy who made the statement about the scope being affected by temperature. (The field target champion, that was in the AEAC video) was referring to 90+ degrees in the sun vs 32 degrees in the shade. Also in field target conditions the scope is constantly being adjusted for (range finding). So it dosen't simply have to hold one setting, as in your test. It will be adjusted from 10 to 55 yards, 60 to 80 times throughout the competition. In other words test the accuracy of the scope tracking. The testing must go on.......... God bless you brother 🎯👍

Stick to giving squirrel recipes bud for now. At least until you get some year's of knowledge on PCP's. Just 1 or 2 year's don't count.😉 It's easy to tell your trying to showcase yourself and get a channel like some of the big dog's on PCP's. But your ego blows that. You Trump yourself up WAY to much as being a great shooter. And try to copy off some other's channels on TH-cam that are well known respected guy's. I've spoken to a few of them. And it's agreed that at least we can get some comic relief off your video's. So take the negative, and make something good out of it if you want to keep trying to push the BS you come up with to better your channel for views. Hey, at least dislikes with thumps down and comments you might not like to hear, counts as bonus points too. So your welcome. Keep the funnies coming. Love ya.😅 The horse guy. 😉
Just because accuracy was not good for you that day with those guns....... That does not mean that it was the guns fault it could be just because you were not good that day!
if you actually paid attention to the video...Avenger grouped almost identical with poi shift up to due to the gun being warmed up...something is happening to the Akela when its cooled and warmed up...because the scope reticle did shift to the right ...there will be a pt 3
@@ALLABOUTAIRGUNS once again I'm saying your POI could be your fault and I did watch the whole video and your group getting bigger on your Benjamin could just bad shooting right then. If you had your guns in a closed room in a vice shooting then factors would be based on the gun otherwise wind & human error.
@@gumbystown you can't tell this guy anything. Dare to correct him. He's a pro! Lmao. Like the blind leading the blind. Some of us ole timers come on to get comic relief from these new guy's that just got into PCP's the past year or so. And share nothing most don't already know. Almost feel sorry for them.

When removing and reinstalling a scope you may or may not get it back to the same place providing the same poi.
thats why I tested it without shooting...
Yelp! I miss ya! glad your still doin vids.
Come by.

Thanks for another interesting video! Another factor to be aware of while shooting.
When it's to cold I'll use my Break barrel Quest Nite Ops 22caliber Air Rifle if I go hunting
FANTASTIC! Thank you!

definitely will be a pt3 now
I haven't had a chance yet to try my new Hatson Blitz 22caliber Air Rifle until I can afford a hand pump for it

@@ALLABOUTAIRGUNS thank you for replaying
good stuff. i was wondering about that with these sub zero temps... it definitely seems like my co2 and multi pumpers are less powerful in the cold
Interesting thanks
