I hope this book was submitted for awards; Tom Willcockson really deserves them. The illustrations and writing make the I&M Canal come alive, helping to preserve its history. Always love hearing about the I&M. Your illustrations are wonderful. Such wonderful Chicago history. My favorite area is the park in Channahon. You get two locks, a river crossing of the weir, a lock tenders house, many water controls, and the remains of the City of Pekin!
