I love the new Scott ! But i would ditch the twin lock crap like i did on my last carbon mtb . Hate all the wires, I just adjust the suspension the way i like it
Scott finally came to their senses and added the dropper post lever below the twin lock. I spent about a month and 6 trips to the hardware store to get my Wolf Tooth mounted on the bottom of mine. Even with an extra long bolt and some ceramic thrust bearings I still need a zip tie to keep everything secure. Wonder if this will retrofit.
All this "e" tech is amazing but the real breakthrough will be from the bike company that's able to offer top-tier tech under $5k..prices must come down.
We make a e-conversion kit for MTBs. But a quality one... made in EU, 3yr warranty, etc, because under that price point it is only possible to build a good tough eMTB if you take your pedal MTB and add a decent motor
I agree with Josh. You may be able to get one under that price, but not at the quality needed for serious off road use. I used to love knocking about on MTBs and building them. It seems that suppliers have gone down the usual path of selling an expensive idea instead of putting the consumer first. Lest we forget, it's the buyers that fund the companies. Knock off the profit margin a bit and more people will buy. Shouldn't be too difficult a concept for a nation of shopkeepers
Ah the classic “here’s what I could buy with that money instead.” While I agree MTB is insanely overpriced, the comparison is a bit monotonous. People will buy at these prices so they will keep climbing, as we’ve seen especially during this pandemic.
Yeah I seen Raymon in the title and thought someone will have finally mentioned them.... but I guess not. He did get to Husky the sister brand though, maybe next vid will be on the Gas Gas as well! And she off some those KTM's too! Kinda funny to see those 2021 Husky's at a show at this time of year, but kinda need Husqvarna to send me those bikes they have there for my show room, I could have had them sold!
@@kerianhalcon3557 I am interested in the new TrailRay-e from what I was reading on the Raymond website it looks like it could be a great eMTB. Here in the USA we don't get Raymond eMTBs, but the fact that GasGas uses the Raymond eMTB frames means they could come out with a GasGas version using the TrailRay-e frame:)
Too bad we can't program our bike ourselves, so we always have to walk to the bicycle repair shop to set something up! Of course you have to pay dearly for that I wil buy a old Bafang motor !
Please PLEASE!!!! EMBN can you tell all the manufacturers to stop dictating what wheel sizes we should have. Either that or I'm the only one who totally prefers 27.5 f & r ?? There isn't many out there now it's awful & to say I'm GUTTED is a true understatement
Manufacturers have always dictated wheel size… they forced out 26 and 27.5 may or may not follow. The current trend is mixed wheel size but that will soon fade for another fad.
Scott Patron vs Obrea Rise, i like the Rise but convince me the Patron is the one to buy with a comparison video over a half hour please & thank you...
Scott really screwed up with that bike. Way over engineered. That onepeice bar and stem combo is terrible, and there's way too much clutter with all that shit on the left hand side of the bars
We asked bike manufacturers how a perfect ebike interface should be like. Nicolai: 3 cables total, including that cra... nicely done Bosch thing. Scott: A quazillion cables would be nice, wouldn't it? But we tilted the motor to get they weight distribution lower. Cool, eh?
for 12000 Euro's i would expect that fcukin thing to Fly and yes i am talking Flight OR go that Fast you Go Back In Time.. these Prices People who set them must be doing Drugs.. LMAO
The new Bosch handlebar buttons and display look horrible , like buttons tacked on buttons. it may be reliable and functional as we have come to expect but it looks like a child made it from lego
The cockpit on that Scott really shows how much nonsense is that "integration philosophy", also, if you want to swap the shock for a different one you may forget about it.. that worth the pain? I don't think so.
non-electric bikes with the same level of component quality (frames, groupset, chain, cassette, etc.) and weight reduction cost about the same. The motor and battery isn't the most expensive part at this level. This is a trade show and the bring out the "fireworks". You can get way cheaper bikes. Haibike SDURO line is affordable.
Fought against eBikes for about 5 years. Bit the bullet…(Unfortunately not a Santa by Cruz Bullet but whatever) …picked up a 2021 Vitus Sommit and smashed my local trails today - it’s all your fault! Anyone want an analogue Intense Tracer T275?
Yes but you need somewhere to ride the damn thing. I have to drive 3 hours to be harassed by DNR to ride my KX. I can ride mountain bikes after work (from work), several trails 15 minutes from my home and world class trail system 20 minutes from the family cabin. Result - the KX sat for 10 years before I sold it.
You know it would be nice if for once you media guys would pronounce Husqvarna correctly, I am not even Swedish and it drives me up the wall when people in the industry pronounce things incorrectly. Then I pronounce it incorrectly, not knowing that I am wrong, and killing the native speakers just a little every time I do. And that wrong pronunciation is now ingrained in my brain and I catch my self reverting back, and saying it incorrectly, which makes me mad at myself, all could have been avoided if everyone would have never started saying it wrong in the first place.
What's your favourite bit of Tech on display at the IAA Show and why is it the Scott Patron? 🤔😉
The tech is great when it work but all I want is affordable reliable bike and lighter please.
I love the new Scott ! But i would ditch the twin lock crap like i did on my last carbon mtb . Hate all the wires, I just adjust the suspension the way i like it
The integration on that Scott e bike is insane and so is the Price. I will stick with the Haibike line up affordable and reliable.
@@DiGiTaLGraveDigga I actually agree!! Mate!!!
“As you can see on the bike it integrates very well” points to the absolute mess on the handlebars
You are the man for the job, great video, cheers
I actually agree! Mate!!
Great bikes, Great show, Great video, Thanks Steve!

Even with an extra long bolt and some ceramic thrust bearings I still need a zip tie to keep everything secure. Wonder if this will retrofit.
They should just remove the twin lock. It's completely useless.
All this "e" tech is amazing but the real breakthrough will be from the bike company that's able to offer top-tier tech under $5k..prices must come down.

1000 Freekin %.
Unlikely when basic mid level analog bikes are soon going to be hitting $5k..
Check the Bimotal Elevate. 750W, total weight sub 3kg, 50Nm constant, 100Nm burst, simple control system: under $2k
Dress code at the show was haphazard ; only steve got the memo about wearing full MTB kit- you forgot your helmet steve🤣
5:34 I saw that bike at landegla bike park it looked so good
The Haibike AllMtn SE comes with a Yamaha PWX2 motor, not Bosch. Also where is the Raymon PWX3 bike in the vid? Still really nice video, thumbs up!
how do u adjust your rebound on the fly
Lightweight with good power is all I'd buy.
Any more info on the Levo Comp??
For that price, I would by a premium super motorcycle. Hell, I could buy a used sports cars. That being said, absolutely beautiful bikes.
Ah the classic “here’s what I could buy with that money instead.” While I agree MTB is insanely overpriced, the comparison is a bit monotonous. People will buy at these prices so they will keep climbing, as we’ve seen especially during this pandemic.
@@NickyNicest You're right.
Fantastic! More bikes average Joe can only dream about affording
I could never ride in Europe. My left hand couldn't deal with all of those controls
Great video! Love these Rotwild bikes - mega premium.
I didn't see anything on the Raymon AirRay or TrailRay or PWx3, maybe later this week.

Where are the Mt. Bromos?
The Nicolaj Eboox is a beast, but would want to see it with 180mm front and rear, mullet settup and kindernay Vii and gates belt drive
haibike gave up on the TQ motors? Shame. I wanted one.
The Scott's are HIDEOUS 😭😭
Really a nonsense bike... absolutely agree with you.
Where in the video is the Raymon PWX3 ?
woah that rotwild is the dream
Any pics of the new mondraker 2022 emtbs especially the new dusk RR
Where can I buy a husqvarna mountain bike in the UK please .
What category of bike does that Scott Patron fall into? Enduro? Trail? Somewhere in the middle?
I have the scott patron 920 really good bike
Rotwild 375 all day long light weight E bikes has to be the way forward I have had 5 ebikes all 24/25k and just fed up with the weight
Twinlock in ebike, what for? Wires a more wires. Display inserted in frame, please.
Thanks for this Nice video 👍🏻
They are starting to look more and more like motocross bikes. Even the prices are the same now. One day I might buy one of these for commute
From Price aspect you can really put them by the Cars!
Too bad we can't program our bike ourselves, so we always have to walk to the bicycle repair shop to set something up! Of course you have to pay dearly for that
I wil buy a old Bafang motor !
Wait.... so you hold the button for 5 seconds to get 2 seconds of boost? That makes sense..
why not covering the new yamaha pwx3 air drive on the raymon bikes?

No Raymon eMTBs ???
It would be amazing if e-bike batteries got so efficient that it required less than 150 wh to be able to fly with the e-bike.
It's official. Total global domination for Ebikes. Lead, follow, or get out of the way!
Can’t wait to see what the pinkbike comment section looks like 10 years from now. All the naysayers on their ebikes will be hating on hoverbikes next
Thx for the show but with shorts on the IAA looks a bit out of place :-)
You should be wearing sandals with those socks… go full Bavarian
LOL :-))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Don't tempt him!
12000 euros seems to be the new price tag for bikes. so common guys, you can do better, who is the First to go for 14000? 15000? anyone?
Was this show better than Eurobike for eBike?
Probably not.

too many things on the scott cockpit😱🙈
Levi 2022 launched in March 2021. Not really 2022, ey?

Go to drop your seat, lock out your suspension instead, hit a tree while fumbling, genius. 🙂
I don’t understand why you want to lock out your suspension on a full phat ebike? On an analog bike I can understand.
12K for something you have to pedal lol. You can get an e-moto for less than 5K. Industry is a joke. Stop supporting these greedy bastards.

Let’s be frank, the majority of these bikes are overpriced for what they offer......inflated parts prices to justify.

There is something weird about seeing a grown man in shorts, t shirt and full length socks inside that show. He looks like a nerdy boy scout.
The future is in 4 months time when the motor will be updated making todays model redundant.
Shit, I bought 2 e bikes in 2020, what shall I do now????
Dont worry, all the used bikes are good too 😃
🤙🏻🔋⚡️
Why are all the batteries rated at 750wh or is he mistaking it for the motor wattage?
ITS A YAMAHA ON THE HAIBIKE SE
8:54… what the hell is that monstrosity!!!
I felt like I might just hit wrong lever to send my saddle up instead of dropping the gear on a decent, ended up flying off the bike and die
Wow grub screw lock for battery thieves run for lives ...🤔🤔
That Bosch controller is a Joke
That scott is god awful - no TANKS!
Isn't this guy THE guy on top of all this stuff...? why does he say "Broseee" some times and "Brose" others....?
surely one or the other eh?
