The Nintendo Switch has the better exclusives out of all the consoles. But I bet the whole experience will be better once the next-gen Nintendo console comes out.
Assuming Nintendo doesn't do anything stupid (e.g. leaving out backwards compatibility).

I still think the console wars is absolutely ridiculous, There are games out there that have cross play that allow players to play a game with each other no matter what console they have.

Love this mindset. I own a ps5 and a switch. But I respect pc and Xbox gamers. The Xbox has amazing backwards compatibility. Everyone is equally awesome, and their gamebox will always be just a gamebox.

Switch is not holding anything. Literally ps4 is 2013 console and running rdr 2 and elden ring ,atomic heart Hogwarts legacy like games well.

I own a switch and I want to play many games like riders republic for example but I can't 😢
The best console is the one that gives you better satisfaction on what you like to play. So, for some people, xbox is the best because of the gamepass. For others, the PS5 is the best because of the exclusives. And switch because of its nostalgical characters. Well, you know why you pick the console that you like. But don't let anybody tell you which console is the best because all of them are great in a way.
Ps5 having the best exclusives?! I feel they don’t match Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Zelda, Metroid, Astral Chain/ Bayonetta, Mario Party, Pikmin, Star Fox, Mario games, Fire Emblem, best dog ever Xenoblade trilogy, plus Tears of the Kingdom is such a great gaming experience that it beats anything Sony offers. I used to prefer Sony for Gran turismo, Metal Gear, Tekken, Ratchet, Bloodborne, Final Fantasy, Last of Us, Uncharted, God of War, Spiderman,…but honestly Nintendo has far more diverse first party games but more importantly, most Nintendo games release more polished overall, and that’s something.
@kagemara277 see, it's what I am saying. I like nintendo too. But nintendo uses the same character for everything. You like nintendo exclusives more than the sony, but other people like sony's over nintendo's exclusive. Sony's are more for a mature audience and nintendo's for ( most of them) towards kids audience.
@@monkeymenso I don’t judge games based on what audiences they aim for but based on gameplay diversity and fun. Graphics don’t matter to me as much as gameplay. I dare to say that most Sony or Xbox players don’t even know Nintendo exclusives, some markets didn’t historically have Nintendo so the opinions might not be equal. I can definitely say just after Playing Tears of the Kingdom, there is not a single game on PlayStation that would offer so much in terms of gameplay, different mechanics, new ideas and just fun well designed world. Horizon is not bad but still doesn’t offer as much as Zelda, God of War in my opinion is not as good as it used to be, DMC was cool with combat but the world was boring and Astral Chain has the most complex fighting system in any game out there- so purely combat depth speaking- best hack and slash,…Smash Bros Ultimate is amazing- but ok, that’s tough to compare against Telken,…. Not counting Mario Kart-no competition on PS or platformers- nothing compares to DK Tropical Freeze or M3D world or Odyssey, and I don’t need to mention Xenoblade Chronicles 1-3- absolutely best RPG out there…I love many games on PS but Nintendo has the better exclusives hands down.

NBA 2K showed me what is wrong with online games. They stop supporting servers after 1 year. If you have the physical disk you can only play practice mode. They put career online.

125m sells only in 6 years beating ps4 PlayStation's 2nd most selling consoles of all time in almost a decade. The switch already in top 3 while ps4 still in number 5. Give the switch 2 more years and it can defeat ps2 after sit on the throne for almost 2 decades.

Nintendo switch is like a portable console I mean not all types are completely portable but still it deserves it
Nintendo is the worst in my opinion, it has just a couple of good games (zelda), it's extremely uncomfortable and has the worst performance of the tree.
Most of the exclusive games are mainly targeted for kids, let's be real.
Playstation and xbox have much better games (playstation a little bit ahead).
Overall I think the only good thing about the switch is the amount of accessories it has.
One thing that I dislike about todays consoles is the amount of time it takes to just start game play. You have to download additional content, subscribe to something, have internet to play games etc. I woulf have to say that Nintendo is the only console that really takes you directly to gameplay.

you do not need internet to play games on console, i only install/connect wit the internet after i baught some games online for installing, but i never have internet connection when i play games. and that it takes a bit longer to start a game...well its not Atari Pong anymore, the console has to start up much more then that👻

I own a Nintendo Switch and other Nintendo systems. So glad to be a Nintendo fanboy. ^^
A lot of people do not care about what components are underneath the plastic or game menus. The only thing they care about is what games are available to play. Games make the system. So VS. on consoles hardware is tedious and minor, but the real win goes towards the console that sold more of the three.
I agree, I know I’m going to sound old saying this but I remember when people cared more about the games than the graphics and specs now it’s the other way around. Personally I’d rather play a good game with 30 fps than a Mid game with 60 fps because at least it will be fun.

Got all of them. And after some time I realized that switch is just interesting to play. Nintendo is about games from the beginning. They understand how to make them challenging. Even pixel nintendo game is miles more entertaining than godofwar)
I honestly think that gaming has been bastardised into having the best graphics, or being the most powerful console over actual good games. Ps definitely has good games, but for most people Nintendo has far better exclusives, and in the end of the day is that not what matters? You play a console for the games not because it looks 5% better than its competitor

I would get both a PC and a Switch. Nintendo Switch may be weak, but the games FROM Nintendo on the console look GREAT. A PC does everything an XBox does and more, because PCs aren't JUST for gaming. They also have a much larger game selection.

i couldn't agree more, Switch I think easily has the best line up of games + it's portable, but obviously you probably want to play games that can't run on switch, so imo either xbox ps or pc works, but obviously pc is the option that's probably best

Both are good options but there is upsides to both:
Xbox, negotiably - a better game pass, with it expanding with their recent game studio acquisitions. The Series S is a great deal if your looking for 1440p gaming. Going as low as $250.
PS5- the digital edition is the best deal performance per dollar. Great exclusives so if you really like AAA single players it’s the better option. And affordable storage upgrades.
But like i said at the end of the day, go get what your most likely to play games with, buttttt most titles are going cross platform. Really depends on what your looking for.

I'm someone who technically wants to own all 3 but I don't have the budget to buy all 3 so I have to pick 1 and making that decision is hard. I'm thinking of the PS5 because I'll be able to play my PS4 library on it, especially the titles that offer the free PS5 version upgrade, but at the same time, I'm thinking about the switch because, my Wii U and 3DS are kinda starting to show their age and, I'm kinda late too the whole switch party, and there are games I really want too play for myself like Super Mario Odyssey or Pikmin 4.

Actually Nintendo joy cons is so much better to play with than normal controller, you just can leave to rest both your hands by your side or any position whilst still controlling the game, no need to cramp your hand like the normal controllers
i agree, there are a couple good plus sides, but there are so many downsides that it basically hides all those good things. joy cons are severely underrated also for the fact that nintendo has FREE joy con repairs, you can just send them in and they will replace/repair them, so joy con drift doesnt cost anither 80 dollar set anymore.

Whoo great video! Couple random points I thought of, having just bought a PS5.
- You touched on the wealth of PS5 accessories out there and you're right, it's absolutely nuts. You can even rip those white fins right off and source dozens of aftermarket replacements of all shapes and sizes.
- The competition for subscription service must be really juicy, because the PS5 Plus game library absolutely floored me. For 17 dollars a month, I may not even buy a game for the whole time I own this thing. The PC version of Gamepass was absolutely weak sauce.
- Watching MLID and AdoredTV the other day, Tom remarked that devs are complaining about how the Xbox segmented their unified memory, saying that it will present severe dev challenge in the near future. I've been meaning to look into it more.

Get the X if you get either. Graphics wise my ps5 is my go to. Switch for nostalgia and series S for gamepass day ones so that I can see if they are worth buying for PS.

What I feel is the sad part of PlayStation is that he had to sell some of it's exclusive games to Microsoft so they wouldn't go bankrupt, Spiderman was exclusive, god of war was exclusive, even games from Naughty Dog like Uncharted 4 or the TLOF series! I'm just surprised that Bloodborne is still an exclusive game, I guess they didn't want to let that one slide I guess.

If Sony was smart they would partner with Apple to only release games on Apple Cpu's. That would put a dent on Microsoft in the Cpu genre. Or just make their games available for every Cpu that doesn't run windows.

I have ps4 pro, sbox series x, and nintendo switch and i find myself more on the switch than the other consoles. Just something about the switch in portable mode that i love. Some say i should get a steamdeck but i still prefer my switch as i can own both physical and digital copies of games. I am thinking getting ps5 but im afraid if i get one i might not use it a lot since im almost always on my switch. I cant remember last time i used my ps4 pro and xbox series s
Exactly the same in my case, whenever I go out with my family or anywhere in general, I bring my switch with me. I have a ps5 and a switch, my brother has a Xbox series X. He's thinking of selling the Xbox and buying a switch.
I had a PS4 slim and I have to say there's no difference in the PS4 and the ps5 except the performance. I'm at that stage where I don't even care if it's running on 120fps or 60fps. Definitely regretting buying the ps5. 🤌

In our first one I think we made a huge mistake with exclusives, and missed some pretty important categories. A lot changed in a year and Xbox sadly let us down after an amazing launch.
A year ago we were at about 200 subs, and no video over 2k, we have spent a lot longer researching and presenting statements with merit behind them.
But at the end of the day, everyone will probably just buy whatever their friends have, or a PC… 😂

Yeah, but but that way you can if you buy the pro the pro comes with the replaceable controllers but they’re like 25 bucks it’s just cheaper to go buy a new controller. You don’t have to spend the time doing it you’re spending nearly the entire price to buy the controllerstick and on top of it to buy that pro controller is like twice as much, but what you didn’t say is the PlayStation controller superior every other way to the Xbox? It has all kinds of features that don’t exist on the Xbox controller which is why it’s cheaper.

But if had to choose between them then the Xbox Series X it's quite underrated to be honest it has better performance better lighting more optimised games better backwards compatibility and not to mention XBOX GAME PASS! I'm my opinion it's better now yes it's Exclusives suck. But in my opinion the Xbox Series X is better for multiplayer games and stuff whilst PS5 is better for relaxing single layer campaigns. I chose the Series X.

Yeah I don’t know where you’re finding a controller that has replaceable joysticks for $80 honestly and I wouldn’t trust it anyway if it wasn’t actual PlayStation branded one the pro and that one’s like nearly 200 bucks I think I haven’t looked at it in a while but when it came out, I think it was about 200 bucks and it cost you50 bucks to replace both the joysticks. It seems like I would rather just buy a new controller for 60 on sale and I don’t need the pro features so I’m not gonna buy that controller just to be able to replace joysticks.
Been a pc gamer since the early 2000's and the only consoles I see the point of are nintendos. Had a wii to play mario kart and other party games with friends. Plan on buy the switch 2 or whatever is gonna be called.
I feel like xbox and ps will always be inferior to pc gaming. I just have an xbox controller for the games that work better with that (which is definitely not fps)
I have a PS5, PC and Switch. I spend 90% of my gaming time on PS5. My PC gets used for CSGO/TF2 and emulators. Switch was a waste of money. Unless someone is a massive fan of Nintendo exclusives you cannot recommend them a Switch over everything else. It has no 3rd party support, anemic specs and garbage joycons that all get drift eventually.

Nintendo has by far the best Exclusives! Zelda, Xenoblade, Astral Chain, Smash Bros, Metroid, Fire Emblem, Pikmin, Star Fox, Bayonetta, Astral Chain, Mario Party and Sport Games, 3D Mario games…. I stopped playing PlayStation because of Nintendo.

The Legend of Zelda tears of the Kingdom is a prime example to the capability on the Switch.
You definitely need either a ps or xbox for all the AAA games that comeout which are non existent on the switch, nintendos meant to be a side console not a primary otherwise you would loose out on all the latest games

There are a boatload of accessories for the Xbox. I’m not a big, you know, fanboy or anything but you’re misleading people. There are tons of accessories for both the Xbox and the PlayStation, including the Xbox controllers can go through the controller lab thing where you can get them and whatever color and pattern you want, just like you can pretty much buy any color replacement panels for the PlayStation five different color controllers as well

I just had a giant update on my Xbox that ruined my night. Im considering just selling it at this point. It was bad enough in ps4 era but this is just intolerable.
I disagree on Pro Controller being better than Xbox controller. Tho Pro Controller has Gyro support, but it does not support a lot of games on PC even when using a emulator.
Console wars stopped existing since 2018 guys like move on PlayStation and Xbox are like the same in performance and stop dissing Nintendo like they have great exclusives and has a charm to every console

I own a switch ps4 Xbox series s and switch has cheaper storage cheaper controllers and the games don’t take a week to download however some games and Nintendo online kinda trash compared to ps plus game pass
Majority of PS5 games are on the PS4. All of Xbox Series games are on other systems or downloadable on Windows PC. The Switch wins.
I have all three. They all bring something to the table but PlayStation wins for me

I own all three and out of all of them, at least for me personally, Xbox is the weakest. It doesn’t entice me as the other two and haven’t played it in months. Had a good time with forza for a while but that’s it. Really thinking of selling it. Ps5/ switch is enough for me it seems.

Have you tried buying an optical drive even for $100 seriously go to the store and try to buy an internal optical drive for less than 100 bucks
Personally I think PS5 then Switch then Xbox, because ps5 has best games and accessories, and switch is portable,cheaper and kid friendly, but Xbox is still great
