I just bought one of these about 2 weeks ago. I have 400 miles on it already and I'm impressed. I like it even more than I expected to. The fit and finish is better than the 2015 Honda motorcycle I traded in on it and everything works flawlessly. I've owned 27 two-wheelers since 1964 including a couple of cheap Chinese scooters. People who dismiss Kymcos as being "Chinese bikes" don't know what they are talking about
Congratulations on your purchase, I think we both got ours around the same time. Yes the quality of these scooters are incredible. I absolutely love mine as I too have owned over 30 motorcycles and still am blown away with this ones tech and quality. Also anyone who even calls Kymcos "Chinese" have no say in the 1st place as this is a Taiwanese company. Things in Taiwan are much better quality than China. That doesn't mean China doesn't make good bikes, cause they do :)
Update: 2 years later my Kymco Like has 6000 miles on it and has been 100% trouble free. The only thing I might complain about is that the rear tire can get a bit slippery on cold or wet pavement. It looks like it is never going to wear out but I'm about to replace it soon with a tire with more grip. But it's not like I've ever fallen down on it or anything.
@@initialmoe What made you want to get it? If I remember correctly you have a elite 150 as well? I've wanted a 250 scooter for a while, mainly an elite 250, but I've heard a lot of good things about 150s. As nice as bikes are, there's something that keeps calling me to a little scooter to get around on without spending much on gas lol
@@rj1234100 scooters are incredible, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. You can't go wrong with a 150 or 250. Pros to the 150 is its very light and insane on gas. Con is its not freeway legal. 250 is freeway legal but it very large and not as economical. The reason I got the like 150i is because I've never owned anything new before and just wanted to experience that, also because I don't want to put wear on the Elite 150 Deluxe is its becoming very rare to see them in that condition.
@@initialmoe Really appreciate the insight and replies, yeah I've been considering selling my VFR for a scooter with the way gas prices are lol, I could never bring myself to do it. But, I'd like to get into one if I can. I do think they're great, just as I think smaller bikes are, they serve a different purpose. Is it your daily?
@@rj1234100 you're welcome bud, and if you can keep both, that would be awesome too. But if not, a 150 scooter will get around double mpgs (even though the VFRs still get better fuel mileage than most cars) And yes she's my daily.

Looks good! Kymco has been making some good vehicles on two wheels, their grom-style bike looks great.
