I know this doesn't apply to the current topic, but I ended up getting the Outset AX and Canon 2's off of your videos. The IEMs are great. Apex tracking with the Outset is amazingly smooth and clean, more than it is with my ULX and GPX2. Your descriptions about how the weight seems to just disappear is in line with my own experience, and I find your general insight about products to be really valuable. Ty for being in the review space!
I'll blindly follow all of your recommendations as long as you keep making reviews for them lol. Have the Simgot EM6Ls, the 4114 Aero, the X2V2 and X2H, the Sora 4K etc etc and I have not been disappointed yet. The descriptions you give are just so rich and detailed, and you have experience with so many different products that I know if you are pleased with something then it must be exceptional.
I was wondering only a day or two ago about when you would review these new Ziigaat IEMs. I like the Nuo's tuning which is very similar to the original Moondrop Starfield.
Have you thought of making a video about tuning for iems? Specifically when it would come to eq and fps games where hearing footsteps and sound cues are important. I have the simgot em6l and I think they are very good but I’d like to be able to get more out of them in terms of fps games and I’ve seen things about eq improving things but I don’t really understand it that well or what should actually be changed.
Nuo is a great Iem for 20buck, the only problem is a sibilance, which you can manage to some extend by cable and tiprolling (possibly with filters swap).
Very much appreciate your reviews of the budget IEMs. Tip rolling can push the "value" on iems, but I think it's worth it for fine tuning and fit comfort. I've spent over $100 on a variety of tips, but I'm no longer in just the budget iem category as a spender. WOOF!
how does the nuo compare to the ew200? The nuo seems to be an interesting alternative that is not shouty but still has detail and soundstage. I love my ew200 but in some game with a lot of treble they can be quite powerful like in honkai star rail where the ults blast my enemies and my ears
If there is a chance, please review Moondrop Chu 2 and Simgot EW100P. I wonder how it will be compare to Ziigaat Nuo and QKZ x HBB for super tight budget purpose :D
In short, Chu 2 has nice bass and good treble energy without any fatigue…it’s more of a side grade to the EW100P. QKZ x HBB is just dark and boomy sounding to me. It’s good for those that like bass and a relaxed sound…it’s like the Hola, but less refined in the bass department. The Nuo has great energy up top and the bass is tight with somewhat good layering and the sub bass can dig deep when it needs too. Good treble energy, especially in the lower treble. Treble extension is okay. Out of all of them, the Nuo is more musical and a joy to listen to. If you want a smooth listen, get the Hola. If you want fun energy, wide soundstage with some depth, get the Nuo. Bass fun is the Khan and Chu 2 and EW100P are cousins of the Nuo.
@@Rsalmond83 I mean, for gaming purpose. but thanks for your detailed info from musical purpose side. I enjoyed QKZ x HBB much, and from your explanation maybe I will enjoy these too. Just waiting Chu 2 and EW100P for gaming purpose side review, so I can decide to keep QKZ x HBB or upgrade/sidegrade to the other IEM
@@nyamnyam6608 EW100p feels utterly cheap with its plastic build. Despite good frequency response, I just cannot recommend it because of how everything feels like they threw every sound into a single box and you have to decipher each one yourself. As for the Chu 2, they look more premium than their low price point and the overall feel is great, especially for the price. I always end up questionning myself: Is this IEM worth the pricetag? If yes, I keep it. Otherwise, I use Amazon's return policy a lot. In the end, I ended up going with the Salnotes Dioko and the KZ x HBB PR2 (I don't have the V1 with the mesh, but I don't have the V2 having harsh and bad trebles, so I think I have Revision 3). Both are planars, which means they need a little juice to spice things up, but they are fantastic for gaming as well as general enjoyment.

Brother, between "Tripowin Piccolo & Ziigaat Nuo" which one do you suggest for a balanced sound? I'm gonna use it mostly for watching movies, and documentaries! and sometimes songs
Think of it like this…starting at the left you have sub bass, mid bass, lower treble, upper treble, then brilliance or air to the far right. If the curve for sub bass is higher than the treble region, that means the IEM with sound bassy/boomy and overcome the treble which will result in a “veiled” or “dark” sound. Too much treble and not enough bass to balance the frequencies will result in a “spicy” sound which means too much energy in the treble region and can lead to listener fatigue because too much detail and treble can’t be tolerated for a long time by most people. There’s more to understand than this and I hope you can find a forum or video that can explain it in more detail. It’s not that difficult to read once you understand the basics and aren’t trying to tune anything.
