    Good video! Thank you.
I like what you said about “it depends on your comfort level”. 10x10… just me. 20x20… just me! 😂

I have the 15x15 safari. Love it for living space on canoe trips. Also have 10,20, and 30 liter dry bags. Next I'm thinking about the 10x10 guide for backpacking. Excellent products!

I pitch these a lot lower / shallower and tie off the center to an opposing tree to get some additional headroom inside. It's the only backpacking shelter I use. Two trees, two lines, and some pegs. There is nothing faster to setup that provides the same wind an rain coverage.

Agreed... when pitched low this setup is very effective and quite stealthy. Nice that you have the option to raise or lower that front peak according to weather and temperature conditions.

In areas where open fires aren't allowed, what can you do against bugs ? This one offers no protection but are there tarp configurations that could help ?

Hi! There are certainly more closed configurations such as this Pyramid pitch • th-cam.com/video/y6sBmEcouV4/w-d-xo.html • that would better keep insects out, but a pitch that seals up really tight also has the prospect of creating a more humid interior environment (perhaps with condensation issues) in certain circumstances. You can also look into mesh inserts, screens or bivies you can use in conjunction with a tarp, or use PPE such as headnets and bug repellant. Thanks!

Why didn't you show how to attach the cord to the tree?

Our goal here was to highlight the plow point pitch. A simple taut-line hitch would be helpful if you want to adjust according to height! Hope this helps, happy camping!
