It would be so fun to place a decoy and have it so when a enemy is in a certain distance of viewing range it pops up so enemy starts shootings and you can go behind them and kill or use it as a way to escape trouble.
For a new map, hear me out.... cruise ship. Edit: For a new LTM I'd love to see a steal the spotlight but have it be 6 teams of 2, all lights who start with dagger but it's themed like an art heist. But the "art" is the weapons from the other classes. You can pick up a new weapon an either use it with a reload limit or you can turn it/sell it at a black market cashbox. First to a certain amount of cash wins.

Okay, so I’ve heard you out, and I’ve now decided that a cruise ship is an ingenious setting for the Finals and very much needs to happen. In fact, you could even have two or three cruise ships lined up next to each other with jump pads and zip lines taking you to each boat (much like certain areas of Seoul) allowing you to live out a rather modern-day feeling pirate fantasy. But I would also welcome having only one large cruise ship with a more in-depth map with a lot of verticality that lets you explore more of the bowels of the ship (engine rooms and maintenance hallways with pipelines and everything) along with all the fun, bright aesthetic up top with all the swimming pools and gift shops and whatnot. Up to you, you’re the creative director here clearly. Lemme know when Embark hires you 👍

Creating something from scratch is always awesome, but sometimes, as with the finals, they’ve built such a cool foundation that it’s easy to start spiraling into what could be added to it. I love embark and the devs, I think they’re very in-touch with the community. But I do think they could take a page from Warhammer 40k’s book. Before Space Marine 2’s full release yesterday I saw that the devs have an open chat with the community; an “ideas” page where fans will spew out every idea they got (new types of weapons, cosmetic ideas, storyline directions, game additions, balancing ideas, lore implementations, anything and everything) and then the devs will cycle through just about every comment and label each one “not likely, very interesting, unsure, or already planned.” They’ll even respond to the comments too. That would be really cool to have on the final’s discord. Throwing out a bunch of cool ideas and seeing if it helps to feed the devs/creative team’s imagination at all
In an AMA Embark mentioned that previous ranked rewards would be unobtainable after each season ends, but i do hope they revert this so that we can get the diamond skins we want to get. Without this in place, and with one diamond/ruby skin every 3 months, itll take about 7 years to get every skin.
Yeah. Old ranked skins not coming back is dumb. It isn’t like battle pass skins where they’re exclusive because they’re uniquely modeled or patterned, ranked skins don’t have unique patterns and their exclusivity shouldn’t come from right place right time like battle pass skins, but rather the exclusivity should come from having the skill to reach said rank.
Flamethrower is countered by something that's in every match. Range. That's the biggest counter. If it's not the range it's the 99% pick rate for every team comp. Healing beam. Trust me flamethrower isn't op, it's fine as is.

I’m really hoping World Tour can be Bank It this season (maybe some will disagree). With Cashout returning to ranked, I personally feel like Bank It is their second flagship mode that will really cater to newer and more casual audiences as it’s sort of a deathmatch mode and needs more attention. Secondly, I really feel like Embark need to figure out a way to add progression into their game that isn’t rank focused. I understand this has been done in many games at this point, but why can’t we consider a prestige for your contestant level where you earn fame each match? Adding things like titles, player card backgrounds, weapon camos, etc that stem off of contracts or even give the VRs a use for this system as well.
id like to see more customisation in the finals, as thats why its so cool perhaps something like the thermal bore for light, but you can deck it out with different stuff Eg a sonar bullet, a shot that does 40 or so damage (no headshot multiplier) or maybe something like the ice ability you were talking about. Light relies so heavily on its movement that i feel like js adding support weapons is the move
One thing for balancing on light is that something needs to be changed to either thermal bore or breach charge. The thermal bore, in my experience, is objectively better on all facets for destruction compared to the breach charge. It has range and gas/goo clearing, but also keeps the 2 charges that the breach has. Only thing is that breach has a little more damage and can be detonated remotely

I think the reload animation makes it more balanced so you fall back when needed and you can't always be aggressive. Otherwise the damage and the range is way too op if you practice it a little you will win every fight. And the thing is the shotguns hipfire makes no sense in this game. If you look at the other games, shotguns have a circle hip fire cross hair Wich shows the spread of the shells but in this game it always goes to the center without any spread. Why is there aiming for the shotguns at the first place when the hipfire makes no difference? I think if they change shotguns hipfire mechanism it will be balanced
@@leoperker2537 makes difference cause its 2 different senses. ADS slows down sense so you can do minimal flicks. Fire from the hip so you can flick wider. I dont know its hard to master the reload animation. And i use it for long

I think it’d be really neat if light gets a “passive” specialization, there’s no active skill, but maybe it increases running speed, and adds jump height or even a double jump.
Your suggestion about the weapon selection for the ranked reward is genius, Embark should definitely do that. Yeah it would take more resources to do that, but it would entice more players to actually grind for it. Pretty good wishlist overall.
Great video! Loved the predictions. I do think data reshaper should have a buff to the range or a rework where it has more range but a longer cooldown or something if that would be too strong. It just feels so hard to use right now because you have to get so close to a mine or turret to reshape it.

DMG drop off for SMGs New Medium WeaponS: AK74U = AKMU? An in between of their primary AR base and an SMG Any version of a Semi-Auto Shotgun Yes two weapons because the Medium/Heavy have 3 less than the Light class. This would help close the gap. New Gadget: Bouncing Betty Bring back Recon Senses as a specialization New Heavy weaponS: RPD An in between of the Lewis gun fire rate and accuracy and the M60 dmg Minigun Hipfire only, slower movement speed when cycling/zooming in, and longest reload. New Gadget: Semtex grenade - sticks to players and surfaces Revert DMG or accuracy nerfs of the LMGs. Dont need both just one or the other.
I want the heavy to get something movement based as a specialization in the future. I've wanted a Deagle for a while, so I'm glad other people do too. All the class specific things are great, I really like this wishlist. I feel like each class should eventually have at least one, Pistol, Shotgun, melee, SMG, rifle/machine gun, sniper, and a projectile weapon (like the bow and throwing knives.) In the future, I feel like the Medium should get a bolt action like an AWP or maybe a WW2 era bolt action. I think the Heavy should get a Barrett 50. cal eventually, but balancing would be difficult. The Heavy or medium should get a crossbow or blowgun eventually. I would personally like to see a combat stim that can give a little bit of health mid fight, either as a gadget or specialization for the light and maybe medium as well. Ice grenades would be fun and should make the ground slippery like his idea for the Light weapon.
Imagine we get a map like Atlantis or a map on the moon or spaceship. I could see the ice gun as specialization for medium to freeze enemies closing gap for melee weapons. Freeze the ground and slide on it real fast or create ice wall brockades. Heavy specialization could be war cry where they scream knocking out all turrets and gadgets for a moment and causing enemy screens to look at them draw aggro. Light gets specialization to crawl on wallas and ceilings like a spider (or holograms like some comments say)
Also more progression levels and camos, its so easy to get to max again if you were already max, got to lvl 60 and got the black camo within like a week of s3 release
Nice video ! I agree for most of the changes that you mentioned in the video, but i do think the recoil on the medium AR's need to be reverted. In pro scrims we are seeing the dominance of triple shotgun (SA+Double Model) to the point where they have had to Ban Double model because of how cancer it is to play again. For light i think that xp is ok as long as the heavy and medium guns are able to complete (with new changes). The revolver needs a huge accuracy buff or make it possible to always have a crosshair overlayed. I think for heavy you just nuke rpg to 60-90 damage but make it two charges and add rocket jumping for heavy movement. In return for heavy though maybe buff the lewis and m60 damage by 1, even before the damage nerfs people in High MMR still pretty much exclusively run SA1216. I think we can all agree the 93r in its current state is completely doo doo though lol. GL on the vids :)
Pretty much what you said but they can do the ranked weapons like gold guns in overwatch. You can basically use a ticket to purchase a ranked skin for whatever weapon you want.

I don't think Guardian turret is fine. It should be reworked into having a radius like aps turretz but bigger, while being nerfed to 4 damage per shot. Two-three.turrets is a nightmare
as a casual who's only interest in ranked is gun skins, you have to commit too much time into ranked to obtain them, especially as a solo queue player... Embark should just make the overall ranked system easier so that more than 10% of the playerbase have a chance to earn some cosmetics in exchange for their time and effort
the flashbang, smoke and thermal vison need a desperate buff. I feel like there should be a stealth playstyle in the game for the light class aside from cloak.

Im gonna be honest, there’s some things that I totally disagree about, but some I totally agree or I was like, yea could be nice, like the new weapons : cold gun for light maybe not, maybe they could make a new light shotgun less dmg but more bullets a lil bit like the med one, a Uzi or the dual pistol. For heavy maybe something more like a heavy sniper or other long range gun. But for medium I totally agree with u that would be nice for medium players. As a light main with 1000 hours I still will play the M11 and XP54 in rank cuz I spent hours to main them but in normal games i would play those if they put it in the games. For the ranked skin, I totally agree with you, we should be able to choose which weapon we want for those rank skins cuz rn I’m emerald 2 going to emerald 1 and I would keep the M11 and the AKM even if I already have the diamond one, but I relly never plays heavy so I kinda just don’t care about the heavy one so I would replace it by the XP54 or FCAR. And I’m diamond 2 and it’s the same thing. I will never used this weapon. So we should be able to choose, maybe not a weapon in all, but they should give 3 choice, 1 for every classes. Exemple : Diamond skin Choice 1 : XP54 (light) Choice 2 : FAMAS (medium) Choice 3 : Hammer (heavy) And it change every season. And fr heavy and light don’t really need nerf or buff except for trowin knives I agree with you a stamina or reload is needed for this weapon. Med need some nerf, and a lil buff. I really think the cl-40 needs a bit more damage and 1 more grenade in the tube, with heavies i usually use all the grenades in the tube and have to reload once to kill them
Lol the Charge N' Slam is fine the way it is. I have played at least 2000 matches and probably can't even use all of my fingers to count how many times someone has killed me with it. Light players using the sword are the only ones I could see complaining about it. But it's a great to deal with those who sword spam without skill/lunging
Agree with almost everything. 1 Cloak out of the game ASAPPPP 2 Not 3rd but yeah Top 2 teams reaching THE FINAL round need to get some points in Emerald. I reached so many Finals with randoms SoloQ and i didnt get nothing cause theres always a good 3stack against us in the Final I got almost no progress last week playing SoloQ Emerald
For heavy I wanted a super jump like Winston from overwatch. Also a jet pack for medium and a heal stim gun for light you get three stims and it’ll basically work like doc from r6 you can shoot your teammates to give them health or inject yourself with it (and add to it a feature to where you can either aim in to heal your teammates or you can hold down the firing button for like 3 seconds and it’ll lock on to your teammate but it’ll only give them 25 health points back instead of 50) or super armor like in halo it would give the light a bump of hp like instead of 150 it’s gives them 200 for 7 seconds then wears off. For weapons I’d like a Tommy gun like you said on medium, the mp40 on light (I know another smg but I just love how that gun looks) and a fully automatic crossbow for heavy or a laser cannon type weapon like a rail gun. I know it seems like a lot going on but the game is placed in vr for crying out loud literally anything can be added.

Yes, I’ve used it from 0 to emerald 1 and I can say it’s at the right balance point. Very long reload, slow fire rate, huge spread, but rewards a niche and very consistent type of playstyle
I’m not a fan of the season 2 meta. Looking at the current meta, it’s more more varied with light being viable at top comps. But there are weapons like the Lewis and M60 that are desperate for buffs
5v5 wipeout would be a great game mode for the finals (diabotical rogue if you need an example) and capture the flag too they just need to add a flag to game and they basically made the gamemode😂😂
My hottest take for balancing is nerfing the damage of the explosive mine from 140 to 70. This is coming from someone who constantly uses them as well, mines shouldn’t be able to annihilate anyone lower hp than a heavy. You should play around your mines and use them as a start to a firefight, not something to guarantee a kill across the map.
Light sword is far from perfect. Glitch traps don't affect the heavy attack. They can still heavy attack dash through a glitch mine. Sword needs a heavy nerf preferably a full on banishment from the game. Light sword is the reincarnation of the devil himself. Get it out of the game or nerf it to the ground
I think Embark should stop adding that many new weapons and abilities. The more they add, the more unbalanced the game becomes. Moreover, it favorises people playing for *the frag* and not the bloody objectives. Besides, during this third season, I think I have seen way less destruction than during the previous seasons... Also, Light weapons are ridiculously powerful. Throwing knives can be thrown infinitely and kill way too easily. On the other hand, you can't kill a Light with an RPG?! Makes no sense (besides, when shooting the RPG close range you deal more damage to you than to your target??! If I shoot you close range with that weapon, I don't mind sustaining damage or even dying, that's normal after all, but I want YOU to die with me!!!). Instead of giving the Light massive damage, they should give the class massive evasion or a clone/decoy that would act as a real player. This would be more in line with the class' idea IMHO

Flamethrower is countered by something that's in every match. Range. That's the biggest counter. If it's not the range it's the 99% pick rate for every team comp. Healing beam. Trust me flamethrower isn't op, it's fine as is.

I’m really hoping World Tour can be Bank It this season (maybe some will disagree). With Cashout returning to ranked, I personally feel like Bank It is their second flagship mode that will really cater to newer and more casual audiences as it’s sort of a deathmatch mode and needs more attention.
Secondly, I really feel like Embark need to figure out a way to add progression into their game that isn’t rank focused. I understand this has been done in many games at this point, but why can’t we consider a prestige for your contestant level where you earn fame each match? Adding things like titles, player card backgrounds, weapon camos, etc that stem off of contracts or even give the VRs a use for this system as well.

One thing for balancing on light is that something needs to be changed to either thermal bore or breach charge. The thermal bore, in my experience, is objectively better on all facets for destruction compared to the breach charge.
It has range and gas/goo clearing, but also keeps the 2 charges that the breach has. Only thing is that breach has a little more damage and can be detonated remotely

I think the reload animation makes it more balanced so you fall back when needed and you can't always be aggressive. Otherwise the damage and the range is way too op if you practice it a little you will win every fight. And the thing is the shotguns hipfire makes no sense in this game. If you look at the other games, shotguns have a circle hip fire cross hair Wich shows the spread of the shells but in this game it always goes to the center without any spread. Why is there aiming for the shotguns at the first place when the hipfire makes no difference? I think if they change shotguns hipfire mechanism it will be balanced

@@leoperker2537 makes difference cause its 2 different senses. ADS slows down sense so you can do minimal flicks. Fire from the hip so you can flick wider. I dont know its hard to master the reload animation. And i use it for long

I think it’d be really neat if light gets a “passive” specialization, there’s no active skill, but maybe it increases running speed, and adds jump height or even a double jump.
Your suggestion about the weapon selection for the ranked reward is genius, Embark should definitely do that. Yeah it would take more resources to do that, but it would entice more players to actually grind for it. Pretty good wishlist overall.
Great video! Loved the predictions. I do think data reshaper should have a buff to the range or a rework where it has more range but a longer cooldown or something if that would be too strong.

I want the heavy to get something movement based as a specialization in the future. I've wanted a Deagle for a while, so I'm glad other people do too. All the class specific things are great, I really like this wishlist. I feel like each class should eventually have at least one, Pistol, Shotgun, melee, SMG, rifle/machine gun, sniper, and a projectile weapon (like the bow and throwing knives.) In the future, I feel like the Medium should get a bolt action like an AWP or maybe a WW2 era bolt action. I think the Heavy should get a Barrett 50. cal eventually, but balancing would be difficult. The Heavy or medium should get a crossbow or blowgun eventually. I would personally like to see a combat stim that can give a little bit of health mid fight, either as a gadget or specialization for the light and maybe medium as well. Ice grenades would be fun and should make the ground slippery like his idea for the Light weapon.
Imagine we get a map like Atlantis or a map on the moon or spaceship. I could see the ice gun as specialization for medium to freeze enemies closing gap for melee weapons. Freeze the ground and slide on it real fast or create ice wall brockades. Heavy specialization could be war cry where they scream knocking out all turrets and gadgets for a moment and causing enemy screens to look at them draw aggro. Light gets specialization to crawl on wallas and ceilings like a spider (or holograms like some comments say)

Nice video ! I agree for most of the changes that you mentioned in the video, but i do think the recoil on the medium AR's need to be reverted. In pro scrims we are seeing the dominance of triple shotgun (SA+Double Model) to the point where they have had to Ban Double model because of how cancer it is to play again. For light i think that xp is ok as long as the heavy and medium guns are able to complete (with new changes). The revolver needs a huge accuracy buff or make it possible to always have a crosshair overlayed. I think for heavy you just nuke rpg to 60-90 damage but make it two charges and add rocket jumping for heavy movement. In return for heavy though maybe buff the lewis and m60 damage by 1, even before the damage nerfs people in High MMR still pretty much exclusively run SA1216. I think we can all agree the 93r in its current state is completely doo doo though lol. GL on the vids :)

as a casual who's only interest in ranked is gun skins, you have to commit too much time into ranked to obtain them, especially as a solo queue player... Embark should just make the overall ranked system easier so that more than 10% of the playerbase have a chance to earn some cosmetics in exchange for their time and effort
the flashbang, smoke and thermal vison need a desperate buff. I feel like there should be a stealth playstyle in the game for the light class aside from cloak.

Im gonna be honest, there’s some things that I totally disagree about, but some I totally agree or I was like, yea could be nice, like the new weapons : cold gun for light maybe not, maybe they could make a new light shotgun less dmg but more bullets a lil bit like the med one, a Uzi or the dual pistol. For heavy maybe something more like a heavy sniper or other long range gun. But for medium I totally agree with u that would be nice for medium players. As a light main with 1000 hours I still will play the M11 and XP54 in rank cuz I spent hours to main them but in normal games i would play those if they put it in the games.
For the ranked skin, I totally agree with you, we should be able to choose which weapon we want for those rank skins cuz rn I’m emerald 2 going to emerald 1 and I would keep the M11 and the AKM even if I already have the diamond one, but I relly never plays heavy so I kinda just don’t care about the heavy one so I would replace it by the XP54 or FCAR. And I’m diamond 2 and it’s the same thing. I will never used this weapon. So we should be able to choose, maybe not a weapon in all, but they should give 3 choice, 1 for every classes.
Exemple : Diamond skin
Choice 1 : XP54 (light)
Choice 2 : FAMAS (medium)
Choice 3 : Hammer (heavy)

Maybe reduce a little bit the recoil of the M11 cuz it’s the hardest pattern to learn, like I learnt it and my control is almost perfect on it but it’s more for the new players or low rank players cuz I spent a lot of time learning the pattern, like just make it easier to learn. And terminal attack should get out of this game, I might be diamond 2 but I still hate this game mode and prefer cashout but it was more for the diamond things that I tryhard this mode. Lol the Charge N' Slam is fine the way it is. I have played at least 2000 matches and probably can't even use all of my fingers to count how many times someone has killed me with it. Light players using the sword are the only ones I could see complaining about it. But it's a great to deal with those who sword spam without skill/lunging

For heavy I wanted a super jump like Winston from overwatch. Also a jet pack for medium and a heal stim gun for light you get three stims and it’ll basically work like doc from r6 you can shoot your teammates to give them health or inject yourself with it (and add to it a feature to where you can either aim in to heal your teammates or you can hold down the firing button for like 3 seconds and it’ll lock on to your teammate but it’ll only give them 25 health points back instead of 50) or super armor like in halo it would give the light a bump of hp like instead of 150 it’s gives them 200 for 7 seconds then wears off. For weapons I’d like a Tommy gun like you said on medium, the mp40 on light (I know another smg but I just love how that gun looks) and a fully automatic crossbow for heavy or a laser cannon type weapon like a rail gun. I know it seems like a lot going on but the game is placed in vr for crying out loud literally anything can be added.
Also smgs need to have more recoil and a massive dmg drop-off after like 25 meters. It's a fkn smg for God's sake

We do have a few unrealistic gadgets such as the gateway and the vanishing bomb but I'm lowkey happy the game didn't turned into that big of a sci-fi shitshow than most fps games nowadays. 7:10 I second this as well. I would also love to see more hairstyles for both males and females, more make-up or like jewelleries that doesn't cost real money to obtain. So you could obtain hairs, make-ups and jewelleries via one of those challenge series or via the battle pass. A few new face types would also be cool to have. This game puts a lot of emphasis on cosmetics which is really really cool and I just adore these cosmetics stuff in games in general.
7:20 I would like to have a DM system. I'm often in teams when I only know 1 member and the other one is a random and it would be kinda cool to be able to send messages only to one specific person. It's been implemented in so many other games. Like in mmorpg's. Just a few quality of life improvements. Those would be nice.

This wouldn't really had a big affect on me since I wouldn't be playing this game mode but I think the 3v3 and the 5v5 system is one of the many things what really make this game The Finals. And I'm saying this as a solo queue player who sometimes fucking hates having shitty teammates. I just can't visualize a cashout gameplay on the current maps with teams that consist only of 1 player. If that game mode was like a 10v10 or a 7v7 then I think it would have a right to exist.
9:15 M11 needs its mag capacity reduced. It just disgusting that it takes literally half a second to wipe a person with it. It deletes a heavy's life to 30% or so with a full mag. It obviously takes less to kill a medium or another light. If I shoot at a light class with an AK that has the M11 and if I'm the one who shoots at them first without missing a single bullet and both of our health bars are full, no matter how the AK has a much higher damage input and the light class has 100hp less, it is going to be the medium that dies. It is just that fucking ridiculous and tbh it's not even funny.

I’m not a fan of the season 2 meta. Looking at the current meta, it’s more more varied with light being viable at top comps. But there are weapons like the Lewis and M60 that are desperate for buffs

My hottest take for balancing is nerfing the damage of the explosive mine from 140 to 70. This is coming from someone who constantly uses them as well, mines shouldn’t be able to annihilate anyone lower hp than a heavy. You should play around your mines and use them as a start to a firefight, not something to guarantee a kill across the map.

Light sword is far from perfect. Glitch traps don't affect the heavy attack. They can still heavy attack dash through a glitch mine. Sword needs a heavy nerf preferably a full on banishment from the game. Light sword is the reincarnation of the devil himself. Get it out of the game or nerf it to the ground

I think Embark should stop adding that many new weapons and abilities. The more they add, the more unbalanced the game becomes. Moreover, it favorises people playing for *the frag* and not the bloody objectives. Besides, during this third season, I think I have seen way less destruction than during the previous seasons...
Also, Light weapons are ridiculously powerful. Throwing knives can be thrown infinitely and kill way too easily. On the other hand, you can't kill a Light with an RPG?! Makes no sense (besides, when shooting the RPG close range you deal more damage to you than to your target??! If I shoot you close range with that weapon, I don't mind sustaining damage or even dying, that's normal after all, but I want YOU to die with me!!!).
Instead of giving the Light massive damage, they should give the class massive evasion or a clone/decoy that would act as a real player. This would be more in line with the class' idea IMHO
