Tamiya Lunchbox & Grasshopper Hit The Track! タミヤ グラスホッパー ランチボックス at Carobs RC Park.

This one was a challenge to film. 😅 It's one thing to shoot video and drive when you're at a park with plenty of room. It's quite another to drive one handed around a track, while filming and trying not to trip over stuff! For a first attempt, I'm pretty pleased with the results. 😊
This shoot wasn't planned either - the circuit was quiet (weekday afternoon) and since I had my Go Pro with me, figured I'd take the opportunity to shoot a running video. Only problem was I didn't have my usual monopod, so had to make do with a 30cm selfie stick. 😁
The Grasshopper is fitted with Lunchbox front axles that allow it to run the wider wheels. It's still running the standard 380 motor. I ran a 30mm cooling fan to keep the motor cool. The wheels and tires add considerable weight to the buggy. Acceleration was pretty bad, but the main issue was the lack of braking. It does look cool though! 😎
