I'd hate to see Bourne go. I think he'd be a great asset for the next QB. Honestly, if he had stayed in San Fran, his production might be better than Aiyuk's. He's good as a #2, and has shown he's at least willing to take on the responsibility of a #1. As much as Mac gets made excuses for regarding last season, I'd say Patricia/Judge had just as adverse an effect on Bourne's growth as anyone else on offense
As a 9ers fan, I would have loved to have kept KB, but Aiyuk is just a better route runner and has more explosiveness. Jennings is doing the job KB was doing even though KB is a bit more talented, so what KB was doing in Santa Clara and what BA is currently doing in Santa Clara is a bit different.

I did like what I saw from him, and he was actually the player I was most excited about that they signed that off-season. Figured he was a young, high-energy guy who could blossom with a bigger role. I really like the energy he brings. This team needs more of that

First thing they need to do is fix the offensive line. Getting rid of Kendrick Bourne is not going to be worth it. He won't bring much and draft picks, especially wide outs, are not one of the Patriots strong suits.

Why would a team trade a 5th round pick for Mac... You can draft a Mac equivalent in the late rounds, have him under contract for 4-5 years, and hope he develops into a legit staring QB.
