I really don't understand why you don't have more subs. Your videos are well put together, informative and just a great watch. Me and the missus have been going through your Japan videos (started off with the Disney ones) and I think you have convinced her (even more than myself) to actually look in to going to Japan (after 2020 ends haha). Keep up the good work. Stay safe!
Thanks so much dannybizal!!! I'm planning a trip in 2021 too, not sure on timing yet, maybe around May time. Thanks for the awesome comment, if you have any planning qs let me know!
This is an interesting video on Nagano. I was just given a project with the Nagano Prefecture Tourism Agency to produce on official guide for them so searched through YT and FB to see what other people have done and came across your guide. I like watching other content creators materials to see what they've done and to draw inspiration from the videos so that I can storyboard it and present it prior to shooting. I am happy you're safe and well throughout this time and I hope to you continue to make great guides from 2021 and beyond!
Gosh! Your day trip and hike looks so dreamy! Spectacular footage of the gorgeous snow! I visited Nagano on a solo day trip from Hakuba and it truly captured my heart 💕 thank you for reminding me, hopefully I can explore the more adventurous trails outside of Nagano sometime soon! 😃 And please keep sharing, your vlogs are so detailed and informative (a breath of fresh air on this platform) thank you! Nicole 🇭🇲
I went to Togakushi shrines last September. The best part is the walk through the forest, with those huge trees. The upper shrine is nothing to write home about, it's very small, and I just remember the very long queue to get my goshuin. In Nagano station I had (twice in two days) the best chilled soba noodles, it's a place called "Shinshu soba no Kusabue MIDORI", you can see through a window the guy preparing noodles, from the dough to the final product
This was beautiful Natasha! Thank you so much for the content. I don't like the cold but I would like to go once in winter time to get views like that. I couldnt even handle being in Sendai in late March 😅 Im too used to the hot weather where im from
Oh we almost went to Sendai before we found out how cold it was going to be!!! Think we'll go in May sometime when we're allowed to travel again!!! Thanks for the comment Manny!
I do love your Japan vlogs. I don't want to go there myself as everything is too small, but I love watching you go there. What a magical place! and brava to you for braving all that snow. Gets me out of my quarantine blues.
Thanks so much!!! Yeah things are a little smaller - I love the chairs as they're the perfect size for me, but obviously that doesn't work for everyone. Thanks for the comment amesavis!!!
I love Nagano prefecture too! if you want to explore countryside of japan, Nagano will be perfect! beautiful nature, mountains, rivers, lakes, traditional shirines, temples, houses ,histories, myths. and you also enjoy them in each season. seasons in Nagano are very impressive. spring for flowers and cherry blossoms, summer for green, autumn for autumn leaves, winter for snow! and not so faraway from Tokyo if you use Shinkansen. It is impossible to get bored in Nagano!
I only stopped in Nagano briefly on my way to Shibu Onsen. I'll have to explore the city more next time. That said, the train towards Shibu Onsen and the snow monkeys is so cool! The panoramic windows at the front/back of the train are great and its super retro.
Oh yes I've done that trip too and it's awesome!!! Omg the Shibu onsen water is sooooo hot! I wasn't vlogging at the time, I'll go back again in the future for sure!
I somehow missed this video apparently... Oh wow, that was so beautiful with all the snow. I find it so calming when it snows and the world seems so quiet when it snows. I love it(as long as I don't have to drive through it :p)
Gosh this is one beautiful video! Thanks for taking the effort to still vlog in those conditions probably really hard to do, but my Godness what views! Absolutely stunning 😍
I really loved this vlog! The snow was so relaxing. Also your camera angles and filming was so cool and as an art student I found them really interesting and creative!! :)
I did this hike in the spring and after the cryptomeria path the route is a steep uphill climb through snow covered trail. Still difficult to get to the upper shrine.

Agree! She was my bible for my first trip May last year, and keep watching for plans for my next trip next May - fingers crossed

I completely agree! Nagano is the best, we always have such a wonderful time there, any time of the year!!!
What a fantastic picture these trees 🌳 would make, fantastic vlog as always.
Thanks so much Jim! Yeah I took loads of pictures!!! It was such a great place to visit!
That snowy shrine was so beautiful!!!
It was awesome!!! :D
Love it. When I get too hot I'll watch this video over and over😜. It also makes me want to go skiing. I must be patient for winter.
Ha ha! Yeah it's strange watching super cold weather in July!!!
Wow, that was some trek! And the pictures of the tree corridor are stunning...
It really was!!! So worth going to see them, and in the snow too! We were so lucky!
I only stopped in Nagano briefly on my way to Shibu Onsen. I'll have to explore the city more next time. That said, the train towards Shibu Onsen and the snow monkeys is so cool! The panoramic windows at the front/back of the train are great and its super retro.

Those steps were scary! I cannot believe they were not blocked off. ❄️
I was so scared!!! Had to be so careful!
The apple Kit Kats are one of my favourite flavours!
Oh wow really?! Oh maybe I should try them again...!!!
Thank you for always sharing your coffee spots! Also Dormy Inn is 🐐. Thanks for the vlog 💗💫💗
No worries!!! We love a good cup of coffee, that place was really amazing too, and so close to the temple! Thanks for the comment Georgia!

It looked so awesome, but was so difficult to walk though!!! I'm so glad we went - it was a great day!
@@thisNatasha Oh yeah, walking through such thick snow is a proper work out! :-) Your legs must've hurt the day after?!
So jealous you got this trip in! We were meant to go in April and have rebooked for April 21. Fingers crossed we get to travel
I hope you get to go Ashlea!!! I hope to travel around that time too!
thisNatasha fingers crossed for you as well!
Gosh this is one beautiful video! Thanks for taking the effort to still vlog in those conditions probably really hard to do, but my Godness what views! Absolutely stunning 😍
Thank-you!!! Yeah I slept well that night - that was some hike!!! Thanks again!
I really loved this vlog! The snow was so relaxing. Also your camera angles and filming was so cool and as an art student I found them really interesting and creative!! :)

Thanks Deborah!!! I really love the cherry kit kat, and the satsuma one from Matsuyama!!!
What did you do about your snow boots? did you rent them or carried your own? you should totally share your packing for this trip!
I did this hike in the spring and after the cryptomeria path the route is a steep uphill climb through snow covered trail. Still difficult to get to the upper shrine.
Oh awesome! Yeah it was a super long way, snow or not!!!
にほんのいなかをたびするときは、レンタカー(rentalcar)でまわったほうがべんりですよ。バスやでんしゃのじかんをきにせずにすみますし、バスやでんしゃではいけないところへもいけますからね(笑)
Nagano train station track symbols look like the Sony Playstation buttons. :)
Ha so true!!! Just missing a square!!!
This is the walking video. Walk walk talk walk...
And what a walk it was!!! It's so difficult to walk on snow! Looks great though!
戸隠は、(と・がくし)と読み(よみ)、
戸(と)はdoorの意、がくしは、かくし(隠し) hidenの意味です。戸で隠すとか、隠されたかの意味でしょう。
"it's hiden " なら?
