Item# 7 "drag brake force" if you set it to option 9 it will drain your battery. I run a 9 and a 1/2 pound rig and have it one option down from default. And it's more than enough to hold my rig at a very steep angle. My battery's last much longer.
This was absolutely awesome! I was going in thinking programming would be hard from what iv heard, but found it easier than it is when im programming my spektrum esc's wich i already found easy to do!
Thank you this makes everything so much easier for me to understand. I've just got a 1800 motor I'm guessing that hobbywing have got wise to the fact that pretty much everyone has the programming cards kicking about as mine just has an over lay sticker to convert a 1080 card to use with this motor LOL
Which one of these controls how aggressive the brake is when applying while at speed. I barely touched the brake, and it flipped over forward. i went to the lowest setting on brake force, and it still flipped over
Max Brake Force is adjusted through Mode 10. But I would play with Mode 1, Running mode, which has three options…maybe set to option with just Forward/Reverse. Good luck.
Hobbywing Fusion Pro does not come with a program card. The good news is that you can use any Hobbywing program card, and Fusion Pro comes with sticker sheet that you stick on top of it....that's what I did here using programming card for 1080.
Most micro servos won't be able to deal with higher than 7.4 volts, although some of the high end ones now offer higher than 7.4 volts. I would just keep it at 7.4 volts. The 7.4 volts does not mean the battery size though. You can run 3S batteries as long as it's setup correctly in ESC.
The colors might have changed. Mine is over a year old already. Just check that it allows the right programming. If not, then I would suggest that you reach out to Hobbywing customer service.
Thanks this is great info - subscribed. Put a Fusion Pro 2300 in my capra, and one going in my CCW reaper today! :) In my capra, my only issue with it is that I don't have as much low speed control/modulation as I'd like, which I think is a settings issue. Not sure which one yet. Hopefully can figure that out today.
Thanks for the sub. Greatly appreciate it. The gears on Capra are way too high. Although I did not use a fusion with it, I managed to control it by gearing down the pinion. I would look into that as well. Good luck.
I am not sure offhand. The nice thing is that you can adjust it really quick so I would try it one way, and if it isn't the right way, re-set it for opposite. Sorry for the delay in response...been outside of the country for the last couple of weeks.
@@BigSungHobbies So basically what I meant was is it ok to have this motor rotating in any direction (cw or ccw) for forward and reverse rather than having to reverse the throttle on the transmitter??
Most folks use the throttle on the transmitter the same way, pull to forward, and push away for reverse, so I would adjust the motor rotation accordingly first. Hope that makes sense.
I just bought a reefs 1100 servo capable to up to 8.4v I’m running a HW fusion pro 2300 that is only capable of 7.4 v. Can I install an external bec on it for maximum power??
I got a program card with blue sticker on it, can I still input the same parameters for my Fusion 540 se as you did with red sticker? Thanks in advance!
I believe all the program card are the same, just with different stickers. You should be able to input the same parameters, but I would check the manual and compare.
The Fusion Pro does not come with the programming card. It comes with a sticker that you can stick on other version. I had one lying around for 1080 ESC, so I ended up using that.
Personally I like the punch set to 100% and I modulate the acceleration speed with my trigger finger. With a good transmitter very slow is easy with the option of a 100% blip if you need it.
My fusion pro 2300kv sometimes just shuts off when I drive in high gear (trx6 hauler) When in lowgear there is no issue.. but in high gear it just switches off when I hit the throttle. Sometimes I just drives in high gear nd sometimes it just shuts off. It doesn’t make any sense. Somebody knows the problem?
I have the blue and red label led programmers. No matter what I do I only get 9 settings. How do I get up to 12 settings? I even tried it on the fusion SE. Also only 9 settings.
If you have a programming card from any other Hobbywing ESC, then it will work. If you don't have one, maybe borrow one from your friend who might have one if possible. If no other option, then you will need to buy one.
Is that Motor waterproof? Ive really REALLY been trying to find one for my trx4. Everything else handles water fine but I dont wanna have to replace the motor everytime it get a lil water splashed on it. Great video BTW.
It is waterproof. I have submerged it few times. That being said it probably isn’t a good idea to submerge it all the time though…electronics and water is not a good combination;)
Thank You, I now understand what im doing a little better thanks to you
Happy to help

I use it on cross Rc emo 1/8 heavy rig and battery drains fast

Thanks 🙏 Glad it was helpful!
So helpful thank you. I needed to make sure before ordering program card.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks, I didn't have the correct sticker stencil included. Your tutorial is very helpful. Thank you.
Reach out to Hobbywing to see if they will send out the correct sticker stencil.

I had reached out their customer service a while back in regards to warranty. It took a bit of wait, but I was able to get through. Good luck.
Thank you so much. I really needed to know this information
Mine didn’t come with that sticker
Glad it was helpful!
You can try reaching out to Hobbywing customer service and let them know that it didn't come with the sticker and see what they say. Good luck.

@@BigSungHobbies Yesssss!!! You just perfectly answered my question!! Thank you. Been looking for the sticker overlay answers. Earned my sub✌️😁👍
Since I have my micro servos in my trx 4 how would I run 7.4 volts or higher if possible without frying my other micro servos

@@BigSungHobbies Sorry for the confusion but I meant to the steering servo. Would I need some sort of bec?
You won't need a bec with HW Fusion Pro.
I ordered that programmer but comes with the blue card and yellow one how do I get that red program index?

can I program fusion pro with my program card that came with the 1080 brushed esc (red led)?
Yes, you can. That's what I use as well. Mine came with a sticker, so I applied to one of my 1080 program card.
@@BigSungHobbies Oh very nice! Thanks much!
So when installing this in an axial Capra do I set item #5 to CCW or CW??

@@Real_rescuer It does not, thus the option to set CCW or CW.
Will a quicrun WP crawler brushed hobbywing program card work?
Yes, that’s what I used as well.
I just bought a reefs 1100 servo capable to up to 8.4v I’m running a HW fusion pro 2300 that is only capable of 7.4 v. Can I install an external bec on it for maximum power??
Congrats on the reefs servo! As for your question, just to be on the safe side, I would reach out to Reefs and see what they advise. Good luck.
Can I plugin directly the hobbywing 2-1 work with the TBS crossfire 6ch pwm receiver?
I am not too familiar with TBS crossfire receiver, but if it's like a normal receiver, then yes.

Could you give a link with programmer card that works with quicrun pro 2300. Kv
Any Hobbywing programmer’s card should work, ie. HW1080, etc
do you know if the fusion pro motor and esc is waterproof?
Yes, it is per the marketing material as well as I have submerged mine few times, so I can confirm it.
Can I run 11.1v li’ion batteries ok?
I run 3S batteries strictly with the HW Fusion Pro.
@@BigSungHobbies Can I plug an 11.1v lithium ion battery onto it as last one blew up.
Maybe wires crossed?
Just double triple checking😂

Probably, but I haven’t used one in so many years so I am not sure.
Has 2s 3s or auto setting for battery cell only. Same with fusion se.
Do I have to buy this card in order to use the motor ?

You need to press ok at the end of programming. Or else the settings won't be saved.
You should be saving the settings each time you change the value. Keeps it simple.
