Just passed my first FTMO free challenge. I need to pass two free challenges back to back to move forward with a formal paid challenge. These free challenges I would highly recommend too.

@@kingboji958 Yes you are right - free trial. The free trial/challenge quite closely simulates the full paid for version. Obviously if you pass the free trial/challenge that in itself does not qualify you for funding but does massively prepares you for undertaking the paid for version; which I should add, many fail, and of those who fail most have not even bothered to do the free trial. I am finding doing it is also massively improving my process and risk management too. Win win!

At least 2 Withdrawals required (“This rule ensures that it wasn’t just one lucky month thanks to which you made it required 10% Profit”).
!!No it does not ensure that, so what is the real reason behind this rule??
Also on the Website it says: "It is important that the trader’s account balance needs to be above the initial account balance (in profit) at the time of scale-up."
In the Video you say a different thing: "Withdrawing Profits are also included" in the required 10% netprofit.

when will there be a new trader interview?
So that’s 64 months to go from $400k to $2m. Compared to 40 months trading for another prop firm to achieve the same target, this might need some adjustment to be more attractive. It’s worth the reward for consistent trading and returns though.

Assuming I have a $10000 account and I have traded for four months and met all the criteria, can I still purchase an additional $200000 account before applying for the scale up?

You can have several FTMO Accounts under one registration. There should be no problem trading on a $10,000 FTMO Account and, at the same time, starting a $200,000 FTMO Challenge. The standard maximum allocation for FTMO Accounts is $400,000 and using the Scaling Plan, you can get up to $2,000,000. There is no limit on FTMO Challenges/Verifications.

what if I merge the account with a new passed challenge on 3rd month. will it still be eligible for scaling in the 4th month? or the count will start afresh

Hi FTMO. If I had a 100k account and made a 10% return in 4 months, but after that, I passed another challenge and wanted to merge two accounts. The first one would be 125k and the new one would be 100k. Would I continue with a 225k account? And would the next increase make it 275k?

Your total trading balance will be 225k (125k +100k). after 4 months expect a 25% increment on both accounts which then will give you 275k (150k+ 125k ) , I could be wrong but you should be able to merge your accounts .

This is an excellent question. If you decide to merge your scaled-up FTMO Account with the "not scaled up" FTMO Account (125K and 100K), you will get a merged FTMO Account with 225K. The only difference is that you are merging a "not scaled up" FTMO Account with a scaled-up FTMO Account. That is why you will have an 80/20 profit split on this merged FTMO Account.
