I think the shared history between Britain and the Americas is inspiring and sparks up an emotional pride in me that our ancestors did what they could to make the best of their situations, whether they were the ones sailing to the Americas or those who never left England and indeed the British Isles in general. I always wonder what family I have over in North America but will never know or see.

Beautiful work. I had planned to visit New England for this epic return but the Pandemic changed those plans. My ancestors were on the original. This just made my day watching this. Thank you.

34 of my ancestors came to this country on the original. I cannot watch a video like this without tears in my eyes. I only wish I could have been there. Thank you for posting.

I was there to watch our beloved ship return to Plymouth Harbor
It was amazing seeing the ship out in the water, as I had only every seen Mayflower II at her dock

Thank you for the kind words I put a lot of effort into this more than any other production to the point where I’m still paying for it physically a week later

My family and I were at Plimoth Plantation watching a reenactment of cooking over a fireplace. Someone asked how they got all of this furniture? I dryly piped up... “Mayflower movers...”. The reenactor had to leave the room. She could not contain her laughter. She returned in a few minutes, face red, eyes wet, holding her abdomen and said nothing but carried on.

Proper. With a tug assist through the canal. I think that was the tug "Jaguar" with Captain Charlie.

Nice video. Too bad she didn't sail around the Cape past Provincetown, where she first landed & where the Mayflower Compact was signed.
