Maybe some shots of the bike from the side angles while descending? Talking about amazing suspension action and the showing multiple head on shots of rough descents is pretty much just an advertisement for the fork and rear wheel.
Ya my Norco Range VLT was $6500 with the 900wh battery. But people aren’t buying yeti’s for affordability. They’re buying simply for the name and to show off to let other dads on the trail know how much money they spent

It´s something that pushes other brands to build maybe better bikes and we all profit from that. Yeah... I doubt they'll sell many of the lower spec versions. When spending that sort of money, I somehow think an extra couple of grand for the top spec version is going to bother the typical buyer considering a Yeti e-bike.
This bike is outstanding and this review is spot on! Outstanding handing and suspension, it climbs up everything and tracks so well!! Despite the weight, it handles like a light weight ebike. I f'n love this bike!! I needed a 2nd ebike for the family and the only reason I bought the Yeti is because a bike shop was going out of business and they sold it crazy cheap. Had I known how good this bike was, I would have had no issues paying full price.

I'm about to buy first e-mtb.First heard about this Yeti coming out couple of weeks back, did not get excited because along with Specialized & Santa Cruz knew it would be silly $$$$...
The bike is just awesome of course. But I rather leave buying it to the target group (the well constituted 50+ years old single dads who´s egos need this bike more than me).
I really dislike the trend of putting the Shimano Motor on these high end bikes.. If Yeti and Santa Cruz specced the Bosch Motor, or some proprietary system like Specialized did with their custom Brose motor, I’d really consider buying one of them!
So where does the price come from? As far as I can tell remove the AXS dropper and you have similar spec for around 8k. Are you really paying that much for the frame? Would love the bike but it's just too expensive. Can't leave it anywhere for even a moment. And on top of that as I understand carbon wheels aren't included gotta pay extra for that.
I wouldn't mind an ebike with that front geometry as the telescopic position of some front wheels makes it tricky for me (lack of skills probably) to get sufficient weight over the tyre. The middle ground between modern XC and long and slack would be great for me. If it wasn't taking the actual piss with those prices. It makes Santa Cruz and some Specialized bikes seem like bargains in comparison.
When is someone going to step up and make an aftermarket bearing cup similar to the new EVO and Levo so riders can change steerer tube angle themselves?
While $10k surely is too much, it’s a lot easier to swallow high prices for ebikes since they’re both a recreational and a utility vehicle. Trail work is so much easier with an ebike towing your tools.

I was of the same as yourself. Then I had a go of one for an hour. I ate my humble pie as I realised it was nothing like I had imagined. However you rise your "normal" bike is exactly how you'll ride an emtb ... just faster. If you use your bike for stamina and fitness, then you'll get even more out of an emtb. Give it a go ... we won't tell anyone 🙃
It's a bit like with expensive wristwatches: Rolex spends 70% of the turnover (SEVENTY) on advertising and promotion ... the watches aren't really expensive or difficult to make - keeping the brand alive and "exclusive" is.
