  • Welcome to our brand new 'Rambles through History Special' entitled 'In Search of the 13th Baron of Warrington'. In episode twelve join James as he starts his journey at Bewsey Old Hall in Warrington, birthplace of the 13th Baron of the town. Follow James as he takes the journey to St Elphin's parish church to visit the final resting place of Sir John Boteler and to examine the alabaster tomb and effigies of Lady Margaret Gerrard of Kingsley, first wife of Sir John and the 13th Baron of Warrington himself. See for yourself the carved effigies of Sir John and Lady Margaret lying hand in hand upon the heavily carved tomb chest. Filmed in High Definition and including 4k drone footage.

Loved it James especially when you're on our patch. We are lucky we still have Bewsey old Hall as as you probably know Warrington borough council love knocking old buildings down. I'd love you to do a video on William Beaumont of warrington if you could James. First class as always 👍💯
