    That FC5 music in the end is such a good track. Too bad the hymns on the game get all the attention because the more ambient guitar tracks really brought a serene mood to the game.
    As for the video, awesome. Love Acrocanthrosaurus, cool to see more on it!

    Acrocanthosaurus isn't the last apex predator before T rex of North American landscape .
    There were Siats meekerorum & newly described Mcraeencis were apex predators after Acrocanthosaurus.

    • @Epoch_Now
      @Epoch_Now  3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Mcraeensis is actually a species of tyrannosaurus, and Siats was a coelurosaur. Acrocanthosaurus, as weve stated, was the last great *carnosaur* predator of North america

    The second largest North American theropod and the one that attacked the largest prey, assuming that it was “only” going after subadult Sauroposeidon at most (which, with a sauropod that weighed around 40 tons as an adult, could still mean an 20 ton juvenile/subadult prey item.).
    Also, Deinonychus being solitary isn’t a given due to the studies arguing it couldn’t be social being based on inaccurate/outdated ideas about modern animal behaviour (to put it simply; no family groups =/= no social groups or no organized group hunting). That said Deinonychus could have been solitary-it’s just that the supposed evidence in favour of it is sketchy. And given how tiny it is compared to Acrocanthosaurus I doubt an adult Acro would regularly prey on it (why not attack a Tenontosaurus?)

    • @theblazingredcomet1954
      @theblazingredcomet1954 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You do realize that juveniles exist? They likely were faster than adults and consumed different prey. Sure Deinonychus wouldn't always be the best bet but it's not outside of the question. It's like a wolf hunting a fox, doesn't happen often but it does when times are tough or there's nothing else.

    • @bkjeong4302
      @bkjeong4302 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@theblazingredcomet1954
      The video said adult Acrocanthosaurus would especially be prying on Deinonychus when the size difference is way too much to make that profitable; it would be the juveniles, not the adults, that would be a threat to Deinonychus.
