It's a shame but everyone looks at Lamar is Superman. He does things no other quarterback can do. But when house is on fire and Superman doesn't put it out, regardless of a horrible offensive line, punters kicking 24 yards, missing field goals, dropped passes that are intercepted, personal fouls on defense, it's still Superman fault.
You left out Harbaugh throwing the red flag and costing us valuable timeouts

He can't make the proper reads quick enough. When you have Zay, Likely, Mandrews, there should be no more setbacks. He can run for 200 yards and it still doesn't matter BECAUSE teams will dare him to make the throw in crunch time, in the red zone, both.
If he can't make the proper throws, he'll never get over the hump.

Game 1: didn't get both feet in
Game 2: Didn't hold on to a ball that was in both hands.
When Lamar needed to be clutch and make the clutch pass...he did. All the nonsense about what happened before hand doesn't matter if he executed the play in the end. Mahomes...missed open throws too...but on the very last chance he made the throw he needed to and HIS PLAYERS actually made the play for him. Thats the difference.
This fanbase makes the most lopsided judgements of Lamar because they literally don't expect ANY of his players to step up and be the one that makes plays....like what actually happens on every successful team. I saw guys blaming Lamar for the interception...because he threw in a tight window with tight coverage...even though the ball literally was pin point accurate and hit bateman in both hands. Rather than expecting BATREMAN to make the play that any NFL level wide receiver is expected to make...we say nooooo Lamar shouldn't have thrown it and expect his WR1 to catch a contested catch.
But even funnier at the same time we have people blaming Lamar for NOT throwing in tight windows and only waiting for someone to be open and being too conservative. So, which is it? Basically whatever he does its wrong because nobody expects anyone else on the roster to execute. When the O-line fails and whiffs a block and Lamar gets sacked...guys say "he holding on to the ball too long!" But last week the complaint was "he should have held on longer and thrown it to Zay when he got open!" There isn't a team in the league who when their QB has more total yards of offense by himself than the entire other team and still loses....that would say the reason they lost is because the QB didn't do enough instead of the team around him.

Az an ardent UK Ravens fan, our downfall is sadly inevitable. How will he (Harbough)explain the loss to the Cowboys followed by the Bills in the following week. It is unbearable and it’s not inconceivable to think that we(the Ravens) could be 0-4 in week four. My ultimate question is in the past why have we not put to bed teams like the raiders who were there first the taking in week2? We will be facing better teams like the Cowboys who are also 0-2, and should be well motivated at A&T stadium in Texas.. As will the Bills in week4. The owner of the franchise has a difficult and necessary job to do between now and week four. Ohh the Bengals follow after the Bills. 😡😡😡
The big picture is this. In a few years when we look back at what went wrong. Not promoting McDonald and moving on from John will be the biggest mistake in Ravens history. It was time for a change and the perfect replacement was there. We blew it and now we will suffer the repercussions of that mistake for many years.

The Ravens have been on the wrong side of the officiating for a while now! I don’t see that changing in Dallas after the results of the first two games. The Ravens 10 point lead evaporated mostly because of awful officiating to go along with the bad coaching!
I firmly believe that Harbaugh thinks Cleveland is lazy so he doesnt want to give him playing time.
I get that you’re trying to maintain a certain standard of effort for the team, but all that matters is the product on the field. Remember the season when Harbaugh refused to play Bryat McKinney because he was in John's doghouse ?Flacco got us to the playoffs, in spite of John's ego/attitude.
When McKinney was finally allowed to play, he did a great job of protecting Joes blind side, and Joe had one of the most ironic Superbowl runs in NFL history !
That was in 2012, and here we are 12 years later.

The most incredible thing about this year is that if this is indeed it for John Harbaugh, Bisciotti will allow him to go out in a blaze of glory because of what he's accomplished and how close those two and EDC were to one another. Think about it, if it gets to the point this season where they are no longer in contention especially with that schedule coming up, Harbaugh will announce his retirement, and the organization will give him the farewell celebration that Brian Billick never had in his final game at M&T.

Harbs is a horrible coach. Ben Cleveland earned the right to play guard last season. He did a serviceable job. Fa’alele played decent at tackle. They should go back to playing where they did last year

Harbs needs to make sure we have a counter punch and make adjustments. He is the head of the machine. He has never done it and we blamed every OC and never held John responsible. People talk crap about bill Belichick not being a good replacement for John. But I remember watching those patriots teams make adjustments at halftime almost every game. Play opponents differently game to game based on their strengths and the opposite team’s weaknesses. That was years ago. Why can’t we adjust and game plan better. We have the most electric player at qb the league has ever seen.

Ozzie saying hey why is Bernard playing with the backups in the 3rd and 4th quarter, harbrough giving the practice speech. Is it time to ask the real questions do Lamar want to win a Superbowl? Or does he want to win a Superbowl only if he plays the role of Superman ? As for Lamar, what are you talking about? He’s had how many game winners. You provided him with a bottom 5 OL, bottom 10 WR corps , and a defence that is inconsistent. Lamar has the lowest margin for error in the league. There has been no QB who has won a SB that is doing what Lamar does. Why? It’s a team game. @@alessandrot99 put games away! Make the crucial plays at the end of the game that we expect him to make. Connect on throws downfield and outside the numbers would be a start. We haven’t seen much of it since 2019. We’ve seen some flashy plays and he’s a killer player. Absolutely. But something that comes with a quarterback earning a quarter billion dollar contract is them rising above and making the plays they need to make despite what deficiencies there may be with play calling, o-line, and so on.
At some point, the buck stops with the guy we paid $260,000,000. It has to. This entire team has been cultivated around Lamar’s skill set. It’s year 7.. it’s time for everything to click. 2-4 in the playoffs we can only make so many excuses before we have to mention Lamar Jackson’s name
@@BrianJones-cu2sx you gave him 27 seconds and no timeout. In fact, he made the beautiful throw to Likely (the exact type of throw you said he hasn’t made since 2019 - which is a massive lie) and the route concept meant that Zays defender tipped the pass out of likely hands.
What you want him to do is something no NFL Qb has ever done: be a perfect passer making no mistakes, be the best rusher on the field, be aggressive, get make every throw as safe as possible because our WRs can’t catch - oh, and do that with a terrible OL. This is stupidity. But you’ve been so blessed with a stupendous talent that you think asking this is normal. We didn’t ask the GOAT to do this, nor Mahomes.
Lamar Jackson can’t play quarterback in a traditional way and only wins with elite defense and running game and plenty of referees help all season long last season until facing the chiefs Swifties where the referees were instructed to help them win

Jackson makes the worst pass at the must have catch! Too long repeatedly on 30-40 yd passes! He has no touch or feel for how to complete those passes and never will, it’s innate just ask any QB , either you have the touch or you don’t! It’s brain chemistry in play and Lamar doesn’t have it after 7 years of trying to find it!
