Just love what you’re doing brother, mixing up and shaking hard the status quo that has become the knife world with fabulous new and exciting materials. Always a pleasure to watch you push the limits and must thank you for taking us along on the ride to who knows where. Ciao for now!
incredible work! looking forward to seeing the finished knife 😁 you and people with your idea of knives should really be made famous for that dedication. In my view you're saving the knife world! 😂
Really hope to pick a Nano and a stone up in the future. Videos are a bonus not a requirement. Creating knives is far different than reviewing them so being busy is nothing to be ashamed of. Hope 67 is the magic # 🍻😝🤘🤣.
Wonder how thin an edge it can take . I'd sacrifice rust resistance any day for an increase of other qualities , like toughness , abrasion resistance . 67 is awesome if it performs . I bet you can get it Scary sharp . Good luck .
omg.....did u say say k390 with carbide size of 1/2 or less? i thought i heard u say a nitro steel too? Im hard! gonna be sick with polished edges the on thing i wasnt super fond of with k390 is running it course all the time.

can't wait to see the finished product
I like your logo and I think it would be cool to have 3 Rockwell testing dimples somehow worked into the BBB logo.
That's awesome man, very exciting stuff. Maybe a good indication of the future of knife steels, and with a wicked heat treatment and grind. Bad ass.
Looking forward to future updates. Keep up the good work.
BBB you're on the cutting edge of blade steels. Pun intended.
Oh I can't wait please share testing with us!!!!!!!
Wow very cool! Can’t wait to see the finished product 👊
That looks exciting. I'm looking forward to the end result.
Good luck with the new steel bear .👍

Thanks Bear. Very exciting!
Did you check how hard it was, right after quenching also?
Hoping you will post some testing videos that show how it performs. 👍
We'll see.
Big Brown Bear I’m hoping a tester buys it and tests it lol
Nah, I wanna see Shawn have a break from working over a grinder / kiln and get some outside R&R time and filming the knife in use. 😁
Triple B boutta turn it into Vancron Supercrisp 👌
he did that already with his dope heat treat.
Very cool! 👍🏼
Now were Talking B!!! Congratulations :-)))

Is it really rust prone or does it have some level of rust resistance? How does it compare to M4 or D2 for instance?
It's not stainless, it's like the A11 class stuff. Stainless is a compromise to the obtainable hardness.
@@FearNoSteel So with a DLC coating it will be the ultimate blade😁
That's gonna be interesting, diamond stones only or will it move with ceramic stones?
Excellent!
