- Please subscribe for more! In this video I will show you the power of a good paint job on a 13 year old SUV. Maaco, a auto body shop company made a Honda Pilot 2007 look like new again for $799. As we know tech advances more and more with time, and for this reason I decided to purchase an auction vehicle. After extensive mechanical check up on this Pilot 2007 I decided that a paint job was worth it. Please watch the video so that you can see the pros and cons of a Maaco paint job in 2020.

Your Pilot looks like liquid metal my guy. It looks so impressive, I am jealous, and I rarely see other 1st gen Pilots that make me jealous. That $799 paint job was worth every penny. The clean interior and the new wheel and tires make it look NEW. My hat off to you sir.
Pilot first generation can take you to north of 300k miles. It will last you for a long time. I have a 2006 Pilot EXL with 206k on it and it’s still running great. Some Pilot owners are recording 400k.
I have 216K on my near mint Pilot.
My 2007 Exl has 473000 miles and still runs like new!

I think you should do a build on this Pilot! Now that you made it look new on the outside, why not modernize the inside? Like maybe piano black trim and stuff like that, tint the interior caramel (which is great for the Florida weather, it doesn’t soak up as much heat) and stuff like that!

Looks awesome. Please, may i know the challenges you faced in installing these 19inch rims, such as the bolt pattern. Is this 2007 Honda Pilot model the 5 x 114.3 bolt pattern or 5 x 120 bolt pattern? Does the VSA problems occur?
Bolt pattern was right on. No mods, no extra parts

Do not trust this company (Maaco) they do not care about its customers. If you have a problem with the shop Macco will take their side no matter what you show or tell them the do not care.

These came from a Acura RDX 2019 and then I used the honda center caps. They look good right?

I wish I can get that same deal I just bought my wife the 2006 and just have a few rust on the corners In the back like I saw 1 inch nothing serious and ask a macco on my end and ask him how much just to touch up the rust and her said like $2,300 what kind of deal is that and they ain't painting the whole car its just the 3 rust part and fix the bumper a little,so we dont get good deal like that

It was bought at auction. Used car Dealer buy them there (usually a lot quirks), fix them up and then sell them (flip them for good profit).

Looks great! Once the paint cures get a nice ceramic coating on it before it fades. You can do something inexpensive yourself such as griots garage ceramic 3 in one or a professional coating. If you don’t, their single stage paint will fade and if you don’t know how to polish paint you’ll be sad. Waxmode channel has good comparisons.
