How does it compare to bose in terms of soundstage? I assume due to the width of the bose the sound stage is less wider than ht a9 where you can adjust the speakers. Thanks

is it okay if my sofa is in the middle and its blocking the connection of the front and back speakers? if this is the case will it work? my front speaker is placed 1.5m from my sofa and also 1.5m away from my back speakers .if this is the case, i will need to buy a tall speaker stand. this will be a hassle for me. i am afraid that both speakers cant be able to connect to each other resulting in a failed connection. the blackbox have to be facing the all of the speakers when installing too?
It actually depends on the overall aesthetics of your room and you have to try to check whether it's working as I am still not able to understand how this system works... Sometimes there will be audio dropouts even when there's nothing in between and the other end it plays fine even if something is completely blocking the rear soeakers
Yes the centre channel is not effective as it does not have any physical channel/speaker... You can try Sony HT A7000 soundbar with subwoofer and surround speakers or you can wait for any updated version of HT A9 btw this is only if you want Sony but if you are ready to try other brands then so many options are available
Yes!!! The A9 is a great fit if you have an open floor plan, it allows you to create your bubble according to your seating. I first purchased the A7000 and I was highly disappointed with the A7000 in my space. The sound was clear and crisp but I didn’t get the feeling as if I was in a theater but I’m sure it would work work great in a room with side walls for the sound to bounce around. Go with the A9 if you have an open space or if you seating isn’t centered on the tv.

Room acoustics has more of an impact on the sound display then the actual components itself plus don't forget what one is hearing is what's coming out of your own speakers at the other end! so I do agree with you to a certain extent! Odd set up. Speakers are way too close together the further apart the better. Interference has been fixed with aan update.
