Oh my gosh that makes me sad. I stopped doing Magic for years and now I'm getting back into it. Daryl's encyclopedia taught me most of the card tricks I've ever learned from one magician. I'm going to have to rewatch the series. RIP to an influential and kind magician. :'(

I grew up shy and introverted, card tricks was the thing that made me beat that and make friends, and it all started because I saw Daryl's routine. When I found out he was gone I felt so sad, he didn't know me but I saw him as my friend and mentor. Wherever you are, thank you Daryl. RIP the magician's magician.
I might be the last person still collecting Daryl DVDs on ebay but they are awesome if you can look past the 90s clothing and focus on the refinement of the performance. Has anyone else noticed that L&L audiences are often the same gang of people?
