The Recurring End / Days 2-4 Nebraska Fall Harvest - October 5-7

- Seems the end continues to come shortly after the beginning these days. One day, soon, I’m going to guess we’ll get a full day in.
I had riders yesterday (Oct 7). My brother and nephew were able to jump in for a bit. They are on their way back home to Florida. Glad they could come hang out in the beans with me for a little while!
The day ended with a bad sensor on the spreader and Lee and Angie making a trip to North Bend for a new one.

The days of fall harvest are not as long as wheat harvest. I've never helped harvest beans, but I think I would enjoy it very much. Thank you, Tracy, for sharing this journey with us. Yes, Fall is definitely in the air. AFG
I love everything about summer!
Nice meeting Caleb, a nice young guy. Thanks for explaining, bean picking
He’s a great young man! I’m proud of him and what he wants to do in the future.
You are a special woman Tracy Lee is lucky to have working for him and I know he knows that but he just leaves you to do your thing and you take good care of his equipment and get the job done thanks for sharing with us along the way

Bet the combines have changed a little since Caleb last rode with you.
Still yellow but, yes, different. He was amazed with all the technology.
Don’t you just love bean harvest 😬 you just never really know when you can start 😁. Hurry up and wait. Question……….? Did Jim lose his razor? 😂
Yep…hurry up and wait! The harvest slogan.
Keep it going Tracy, you’re definitely the energizer bunny, non stop…God Bless you, stay safe and take care🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸

Hi folks enjoyed yr Montana harvest this summer do y hav there farm chanel for following for fall seading
They don’t have a farm channel. And their winter wheat seeding is complete.
I may have missed the answer but is that your combine you sold ??
Nope. Ours is in Kansas.
Is that an 'unfolded' bin expander in the unfolded position?
It is unfolded. I believe it was built for the overseas New Holland market.
Actually, I found out tonight why the grain bin is different on this machine. This combine is a narrow frame machine. These are used in European countries. The narrow frame doesn’t have the option of the open grain bin like we see on the bigger-framed machines.
Why does that combine have a cover over the grain hopper?
I believe it’s one that was built overseas. Theirs looks a little different.
Thanks for the reply back Tracy@@ZeorianHarvestingTrucking
@@denniswhite5566 I might not have told you correctly. I will find out for sure and let you know.
@@denniswhite5566 - I asked someone who knows the answer to your question tonight. The reason the grain bin is like that is because the combine is a narrow frame. Typically these are what you see used in European countries. Because it is a narrow frame machine, the open bin like we see on so many other machines isn’t even an option.
Well isn't that odd. I guess they have to be more narrow to get to where they are going. Thanks again for responding.
