@@FroDiKa_Music just watched it. thanks!!! i love all your inputs on her performances. hope you won't stop reacting to her. pls check out another medley that she did...the LATIN MEDLEY. the guy on drums is Katrina's husband, Mike Shapiro, who's an acxomplished musician and has done a lot of musical scores for different Hollywood movies...and has also played with big classic artists in the past. can't wait for him to introduce Katrina to those artists and do a collab.

well she started joining amateur singing competitions at a very young age because they were poor and winning in contests here in the Philippines will not only give you monetary reward and experience but also more exposure. Kat continued competing in high school and that's how she supported her own education until eventually, she had to choose singing over school to continue earning for herself and for her family and also because it's her passion. she was discovered because of her viral videos long after she posted them on TH-cam. she was dubbed as the suklay (comb) diva because that's what she would use when ahe would post her singing videos, pretending that it was a microphone. Kat's story is really inspirational. kind of a rags to riches story (although she's really that rich) but she made it out of poverty because of her talent. that's a typical story here in the Philippines. they use their voice as a way to get famous and to be able to live comfortably. that is the reason why, there are so many good singers in the Philippines. hope you continue reacting to Katrina because she never ceases to amaze me...she insanely talented but she's so grounded...and that's what i love about her. ❤️❤️❤️

@@FroDiKa_Music yup. a lot of stories like that because it really pays off especially if you genuinely have talent but would you believe that despite her talent, Kat is still underrated here in the Philippines which makes me sad. there are so many "artists" here with "albums" that are just famous but don't have the right to sing...but because they are marketable and they appeal to the masses (which translates to money), labels would go for them and push for them...😒😒😒
@@Zee_1003 yuup... it's like that min the west as well... i often realise how many great singers and musicians in general don't get the spotlight cause either their music isn't the proper genre for marketability, or the market is too big and someone with a more marketable persona get's the contract... :/
