The German scooter manufacturer GO!MATE has electrified its stæp scooter. With the stæp ER1/ER2 PLUS, the incomparable Street Surfer feeling has been retained, as well as all the design features of stæp. It is extremely light in weight, all-terrain due to its excellent suspension, and has an exceptionally compact folding size, so you can take it wherever you want. With all these great features, the scooter was awarded the reddot Design Award 2018 as Best of the Best. The stæp ER1 PLUS is also approved for road traffic in Germany by ABE P038 according to Art. 20 of the German Road Traffic Act (StVZO).

Around town, cars and bicycles are often impractical and unwieldy, and frequently incompatible with public transport. GO!MATE stæp e-scooters aren’t just very light, weighing just 13kg, but thanks to their folding mechanism, they can also be reduced in size. On the ER1, the handlebars can be folded up, while on the ER2, the front part of the scooter can also be folded up. The ER1 folds up to a size of 120cm x 60cm x 25cm, and the ER2 to just 100cm x 55cm x 30cm. This makes it the ideal companion for surfing through urban areas.
A chassis that charms
The Streetsurfer ER1/ER2 from GO!MATE has a footboard made offrom multilayer glued wood. Along similar lines to a skateboard, this results in a spring effect - but without any heavy wearing parts such as shock absorbers. Combined with the large pneumatic tyres, the irresistible feeling of surfing across the road is the result. The hydraulic TEKTRO disc brake, with 140mm discs, ensures rapid deceleration. GO!MATE has also come up with something special for the frame geometry. The classic V-fork at the rear, with the 250W electric motor in the 12" rear wheel, is combined with a single-sided fork with a 16" wheel at the front. This high-tech feature isn't just fun, it is also individually handmade in Germany. You therefore get a genuine Made in Germany product!

The GO!MATE stæp ER1 and ER2 Plus aren't just available in the German StVZO version, but also in a fast 25 km/h version. This not only gives you another 5km/h of speed on top, but the models also meet the approval requirements for Austria, Switzerland several other countries.
