25:14 not anymore, capable and modern RWRs have IFF in sim now.
I've stopped playing A-10 late. Can't survive to see the enemies let alone fire at them and lasers have problems locking and resetting.
*SPO-15 counts as "capable and modern IFF" which makes base Su-25, Su-17M4 and both MiG-27s life a bit easier
I think they should add more versions of a10 just like with su 25

BR 10.0 to 10.7 for me is the limit of fun, above that it is very frustrating in any nation

I played with the A-10 for the first time since the update. The maverick actually killed 3 tanks. Finally.
I am absolute noob in flying plane as CAS in ground sb. Only good on dogfighting planes in air sb. That's crazy to think how you were able to survive that long with A10 in ground sb as CAS too. Hunter you're awesome player.

Hey hunter, how are you doing? How's your health? I noticed that you rarely play on 12+ rank. today played in simulation battles mi-24P there is now very interesting and a lot of people. i remember when we played 5-5 players well it's a rush especially on the map fields of poland).
Hello my friend, thanks a lot. Not bad, I feel fine. 12.7 Ground RB is a mess because of the spam of active radar homing missile, the battle length is 10 mins average, 3 mins in tank, 6 mins notching and one min left to kill one tank hahaha.

You should get track IR for head tracking. It makes such an enormous difference for playing in first person. I can’t recommend it enough
A-10C might get 9ms could be cool.

hello again. I know i am annoying on this: but I feel paveway III has no IOG at all: the second laser guide stops it either fly away or to ground. Moreover the damage bug that if it explode in front of an mbt then only barrel and track blackened can be repeated. No one mention this no one fix this no one care.

Hah great cas video still want to know how you can use the tornado on 11.3 while ther is not realy a 11.3 line up on german side ( fun fact in the last change log they gave the tornado a "bit" more chaff i mean yeah just a bit but did no expect them to give it 630x CHAFF LIKE HOW yeah you can give it chaff but not extra flares ?!

i play on laptop and every time i try using a10a late i cant get more than 2 kills since i dont see realy well and its small screen but thats only bc tv sight is low resolution but when i use f16 or tornado i can get more since they have tgp (cant wait for a10c)

Hey hunter how do you get the targeting camera so zoomed in? I am using tech tree a10 and I can barely see targets from the ranges that you’re engaging at
Hello, the zoom is in the nose of the missile, it is not about the plane. Maverick B is zoomed in with no thermal imaging, while Maverick D is 2x zoom with thermal imaging.
Played 15 games yesterday and usa won 2 of them 😭 we just get rushed by the entire enemy team it’s crazy
meanwhile my maerick(and all other F&F missile) still go straight to the gunner optics and do absolute no damage to other parts
maybe i just don't have the luck to play such type of weapon

in sim are you using track ir? if yes what do you do to prevent it from moving your view when in targeting camera?
Keyboard and mouse only, for everything.
Shame they dont actually lock anything while looking down the camera. Such a mess.

is there a maximum distance where the agm-65 can lock and track a moving target? I am trying to play it without getting too close to those stelas
Yes, Maverick B has 23km lock ground range, and 6km lock range for MBT size vehicle.
I been trying to figure out how does gbu 8 work but can't seem to figure it out I have seen like 3 videos over and over and can't get to make them lock 🤣
Be at 600km\h before drop, and it is better to be in a dive, a slight dive at least. For locking they are as same as locking any TV weapon.
How rare it is to see an AA player using cover. Normally they just sit where they spawn then go to cry on Reddit when they get blown up...

Some TV bugs got fixed for RB and SB recently, so the experience is even better now.
in War Thunder above 10.0 BR planes ARE NOT close air support, they can kill anything from very far away /safe distance if pilot is not stupid... such easy mode, only pansir is somewhat dangerous..
What does that tiniest white crosshair do while you lock your weapons ?
To cancel the lock when getting it out of the box.
It seems that all those middles they kept launching at you from the ground were easy to dodge.
Is it due to you being a bit away from the battlefield or the fact that this plane doesn’t have afterburners and the flares fool the missiles easier due to that.
It is all about being far, and staying on the edge of 8km, these SPAA SACLOS missiles start maneuverable and responsive but after 4 or 5km for Roland 3 for example it becomes very weak and easier to dodge. The main threat to A-10 in this era is the upgraded Tunguska 2s6 with 10km 32G missile, and because A-10 is subsonic notching will not work always to defeat a 2s6 missile.
@@Hunter_i86 good to know, I’m not that high up in the BRs just now research first Abrams but I have the squad one and the tech tree a10 and I always go guns in because I’m stock.

I think it is about timing the flares, dropping them earlier is always better.

A-10C, not the ones in the game.
Is it just me or is the ballistic computer for the GBU-8 on the A-10 incorrect?
Dropping it in the very center of the cross it never makes the bomb directly reach the target.
CCIP becomes more inaccurate the slower you are, also it becomes accurate in a dive more than level flying, so to use GBU-8 on A-10 I recommend the speed should be at 600km\h, and the approach should be in a slight dive at least.

the seeker doesnt work for me at those ranges you're firing at, they keep searching and dont lock until im 2km in range

I lock the ground with point lock and fire, you guys don't fire until you get a "track" lock. Simply that is the difference.
with in the last couple of days, the range at which the ag65b tracks targets has been increased. its much better now
@@Hunter_i86 Does it track if they move? If I know the enemy isn't going to move, I usually do the ground lock and fire but many times the enemies are moving too much for me to do that.
@@StrafingHunterIt does not but generally against spaa you can point track the ground and disengage and they won't move before it hits. Mav splash damage is pretty good now too so even if they move a little you are pretty likely to overpressure
What did they change on the Maverick?
Better warheads, they increased the spalling damage, so basically the probability of getting one shot kill with Mavericks and also Hellfire missiles is higher now.
