I’m a little late to this but, This has managed to convey the one factor I look into in all transformer media (at least modern, or exceptions) and that is *weight*. Something even the movies got right, was that a transformer only had control of the in and out of vehicle mode, NOT the individual bits. So when the transformation began and the cannon had weight to fall and the minuet detail of the bits shifting not only the transformer but to gravity as well, the cherry on top to this badass toy
It's like having Megatron and Crossbone Gundam mixed together into this awesome Transformer! As always love the stop-motion animation especially the realistic feel of the weight from that cannon!
I read on Facebook that this was meant to be Megatron and I can see how. They are both mainly gray in color, transform into guns and have a large gun mounted on the right arm, also the skull-like markings on its face kind of look like the ones on Prime Megatron’s. The head being shaped like a peaked cap with a large emblem gives off the air of authority but the fact a flame detail can be added on top creates a strong show of hostility.
I can't wait to own this figure very soon. Almost 4 years waiting actually. Your stop motion vid is just mind blowingly stunning. Like true animation. Level 20/10. Keep up the great work!!
If this is in 1/72 scale his alt mode would be more than 1 meter long including the Gun barrel. Edit: After a few day of research and going through the internet I come to the conclusion that MP-44 Optimus is in 1/35 scale so if this was in a Masterpiece scale it will be stomping combiners left and right and his alt mode will be over 2 meter long(including the Gun barrel.
I ordered mine from BBTS, it didn't come with the standee of the lady tho. They said it was a preorder bonus if you ordered straight from the manufacturer. I still like it very much.
no idea why it comes with the girl target thing but the way it matches proportion with this monster in the overlay shot gave me the amusing thought "are they implying this beast is a Femme if so then i think Strika has a new altmode"

he will be bigger than Devastator as I have the model kit of the Gustav/Dora Railway Gun in 1/72 scale and it's over a meter long with the gun barrel.
