You would need a J-1 au pair visa. Not easy to get because your sponsor (host family)must be registered with an agency designated by the US government. Only a small percentage of Americans go through this route because it’s quite expensive. The only few people that I know of who have brought au pairs either work for the World Bank or the IMF. Both organizations have a great program that facilitates these visas.

It’s a show based on the K-1 visa. Everything she’s talked about is true. A US citizen has to petition for you, but you must get married within 90 days of your arrival in the US. A civil wedding (normally at the District Court of your city) is the easiest and cheapest option, then have a reasonable dinner reception with family/friends.

k1 visa/ fiancee visa is the visa she used. 90 day fiancee is a show of people coming with k1 visa and from Kenya we only saw Akinyi in season 6 of the show, Those are two different things. There is no visa called 90 day fiancee🙄 It's a K1/ fiancee visa!

People get confused even more, you can't go to the embassy and say you want 90 days fiancee 🙄🙄🙄! People go doing interviews in kenya and confuse people over and over again.🥲

She’s honestly not confusing. It’s easier to sponsor a K-1 visa than a spouse visa! Sounds crazy but it’s true. The only downside to a K1 sponsorship is that you’ll get a 2-year conditional green card, and after the 2 years your spouse must support you to renew (I think, though I’m not entirely certain).

She's right, listen to what she said again. She stated one child is $2k per child, that's exactly what we pay. If yiu add another child you might have to pay same amount, or talk to them and see if they can reduce to $1,500 per child. Daycare is the most expensive equal to mortgage.
Why do you think most couples prefer to have alternate schedules ie one works during the night and the other partner works during the day? Kindly listen to people who have gone through it. Childcare is the biggest expense in the US, more than rent and mortgage. That’s why some people invite their parents/grandmas to come over and stay home with the kids.
