Really good narration. 4 points I can take away from here.
1: People should stop copying from social media because most people that show off are most affected. Remember that saying “ not all that glitters is gold”
2: In our culture, marriage is considered success and therefore parents and family always convince daughters to stay in domestic environments. This mother was an exception though as she didn’t push her only daughter but wanted her to be happy. MHSRIP
3: Money is not everything esp for women that donot pursue their financial independence.
4: If a man or women is abusive, it’s only a matter of time before he or she kills you. Donot stay in abusive marriages no matter what

It's very dangerous to date an older man because they suffer from insecurities due to age difference, I was in a similar situation. This guy used to stalk me,control me,and abuse me soo much 😢whenever I tried to leave him he would threaten to kill me,am glad I was able to leave him changed the town and started a new life

What a coincidence, on Tuesday this week i remembered this couple especialy Mukundi how he was being mentioned by Kihenjo kwa radio almost everyday na hapo dio nilimjulia until their death, resr in peace.
Mukundi were great friends with muthoni wa kirumba,she even attended her burial.
This was tragic, met this couple a day before the incident. They looked disturbed.

Money can never buy happiness or love. When I was young, I always wanted to get married to a wealthy man. I didn't realize my dream and now here I am many years later, living the life of my dreams that I created myself and thanking God for unanswered prayers since I would probably have ended up in a similar situation.

I've been there with a narcissist and I was pregnant.
Any man he'd ever hear I interacted with, was always the father of the baby. I'd cry. I'd be admitted in hospital over stress and he couldn't come see me and he'd not want anybody visiting me.
We had to do a DNA.
Niliteswa mentally until I left juzi with a 10month baby. People cannot fathom how I left a man who would provide us 200k per month and I just chose a parental responsibility agreement of just 70k instead.

Waah thenks for sharing in a detailed way. Oooh poor Njeri, little did she know what she was walking into despite being warned by the mother. In some sense, being rich ain't something that we ought to envy at times. Jonathan was rich but showed no humanity, who unleashes a German Shepherd to a domestic work for cans of beer?? There is a reason why the first wife left in the first place and chose to live miles away together with the three kids,, it's because she saw what Jonathan was capable of, and neither her nor the children were safe around him. This should be a public lesson, nothing seems as it is from the outside.

Everything about the history of the subjects was a recipe for disaster:
1. History of suicide in the family
2) Single mother household
3) History of divorce with the ex-spouse living a continent away as if they were fleeing
4) Obesity
5) Excessive alcohol consumption
6) Etc..
The ending could have been avoided if only the subjects had dealt with these issues.
Money doesn't bring fulfilment! life is a delicate balance. Son/Dad commit suicide? Possible generational curses? Karma? Family demons? We never really know who we get close to. Ancestry tree might shed some light but who has time for it.

The irony of a murderer being eulogised as a gentle soul, LOL!! None of the reasons his friends gave are legit. Going by the fact that his first wife had to flee miles away to get away from him and him unleashing dogs on an employee point to his character. He was an angry, controlling psychopath who couldn't accept that he had been dumped and he decided if he can't have Njeri, no one could.
Many times i have failed to take my mum's advice i have never succeeded. Any life that is not guided by the holyspirit must end in tears always

That was a major hover on Njeri. This sounds like the controling effect of if I can't have you no one can. Those who understandnds hidden abuse understand that an emotionally abusive person is the most dangerous to the target which in most cases is the intimate partner but a sweetheart in the society.

Jonathan was my cousin. His father died by suicide, hanging when Jonathan and his brothers were very young children
That spirit of suicide it's like a generational curse that follows the family bloodline especially make family members it looks like that death spirit drives male family members to unalive themselves or commit murders.they got to perform a ritual to get rid of that spirit

The way negative stories about his wife flew on social media as soon as news of the murder-suicide broke, some of which had to be disproved by a pathologist! But now years after their deaths, we get to hear about his hot temper and his arrogant ways while dealing with others, not to mention unleashing dogs on someone. If Njeri had been the one guilty of those things, we would have known immediately. The friends really covered up for this murderer while trashing the lady online.
He was a narcissistic controlling freak. I met him in kirigiti once. Guy was very arrogant and never happy despite being filthy rich. Wish he had gotten mental help after his father committed suicide. He took the easy cowardice way out after murdering Njeri bcoz he couldn't control her anymore.
Everyone can be a narcissist. Especially if you face disappointing incidences where trust is broken in one's inner most circle, you don't know who to trust and who not to.
I knew him too, dated him for a few weeks (before he was remarried) but I got very scared of his arrogance and demeaning way of talking to people
