ALD is polo from the hood. Which is not a bad thing it’s just the truth of Teddy’s vision and inspiration. Now that it is mainstream the pieces are more difficult to acquire and heavily inflated price wise.
IMO The best run was from 17-19. The pieces were compelling and authentic to their roots…Once NB came into the fold it became less appealing and more hypebeast. It’s a double edged sword unfortunately. The brand has great art direction, aesthetic, and pieces… just less charm and uniqueness.
It’s basically a more appealing version of Kith. Kith is a pretentious brand that makes tourists feel like they are “New York” enough for street fashion.
PSA: Sweats are 100% functional and comfortable. They are also 100% unattractive and unprofessional. Enjoy with discretion.

A nice brand. Beautiful pieces, with microscopic changes. However, there is not a single new piece. Everything, really everything has been there before. Recognize exactly no revolution.
