Maldon Promenade, Top Riverside Pub Stop, The Jolly Sailor, Heybridge Basin, Essex - Vanlife UK

What a lovely place this is, The Jolly Sailor in Heybridge Basin is in a beautiful riverside location. It has a lovely car park to stay in, the food was great and really friendly people, you do need to book ahead to stay overnight with a campervan and register your vehicle with the pub. Next to it is a lovely cafe and also another pub.
Nearby Maldon is a lovely place to visit and has great parking opportunities in the Promenade Car Park. You can easily walk into town from here along the promenade and grab an ice cream along the way. We had a great day out here, so if you're over this way, it's worth a visit.
