Great to see the weathered Forage King wagon at work. This was manufactured in Ridgeland WI, just a couple miles from my family’s small dairy farm. This little company also made manure spreaders, plows and a couple of other implements.

My hat off to this farm for their beautiful Allis-Chalmers tractors.

Love these videos. Takes me back to 1974 on my dads Ford 5000 chopping silage. Cool crisp fall air, diesel, and silage smells. Loved filling silo. My favorite time of the year!

I agree with you sir. Your description of the perfect fall day is spot on. No one in a city can really appreciate fall like us in the country.

Thanks for sharing! It is nice to see them still doing it the good old way. It is never the same when you have a big outfit come in and chop the corn silage in one afternoon. It is much harder their way but much more rewarding when their done. Plus a lot easier on their pocket book lol. That tractor on the silage cutter has the look of a real powerhouse.

Thanks for sharing, really nice to see all the machinery used made in America'a Dairyland . Allis Chalmers in West Allis of coarse, Gehl in West Bend & the Forage King forage box in Ridgeland. :-)

We have had a Early 190 gas, a 180, series 4 d17 and a b we restored and sold over the years. Still have the 180. Papaw had a 1968 190xt as his first new tractor. It was the biggest around for couple years.

Another winner J and L! Nohlen ( I hope that’s correct) has one of the most important jobs. Hooking up the wagons. That saves so much time getting on and off the tractor. I felt sorry when his tractor started to spin. Maybe some more and tires like you commented to someone. Don’t get me wrong I love all your Allis’, but any video with the 185 in it is perfect. Hope you’ll have time to show more. I understand it’s a busy time. Stay well all of you. Thank you very much for sharing.

@@Jane-rq7sv There was no 195 it went from a 190 XT series 3 to a 200, so my guess is it was a series 3 and the dealer probably told your grandpa it's like a 195, because it was the last variant of the 190, before it became a 200
