I've also found Solemn Judgement is awesome "if" you're able to go first and get that set locked in. Recently I've been experimenting with more Spell/Trap removal like Cosmic Cyclone adjacent to Harpie's feather duster as there have been so many Dimensional Fissure or other backrow lists that prevent DM from setting up, but that's on the Master Duel side.
In this build I think wannabee and solemn strike would be good for going second. Solemn strike off wannabee is a good SS3 on your turn one. Just an interesting tec idea. Great vid mayne.

It's like saying playing 3 Max C makes your deck a insect C deck lmao REF is the best starter in DM so its basically part of our engine. Though I know A LOT of people disagree and hate REF. So, I made this video/deck to cater to those who don't like REF
As a branded player, I find it crazy that we play dark magician and summon dragoons way better than DM players can. I can get 2 out consistently. Let's pray that the structure deck gives DM everything it needs. Bystial DM player here.
Yeah it's kinda how it has always been. Anaconda, REF and Branded Fusion meant other decks can access our boss monsters EASIER than us. Of course, I utilized Anaconda and REF as much as I could. Still to this day I'm on REF brigade.
I like the deck profile but how the f*** will Rivarly of Warlords and Gozen Match win you any duels? Thats such a gigantic exaggeration. Most decks only play 1 type sometimes even just main deck with 90% same attribute. Of course it can come in handy against some decks but win you duels in general? Nah bro, not from my experience. Even the Extra Deck won't get affected that much if they want to play a different type or attribute from there since most monster on the field will be tributed or linked anyway. Also, with an Extra Deck like this you can't really call it a "pure" Dark Magician deck.
Gatekeeping a pure deck based on extra deck? That's a new one 😂 The floodgates together should lock your opp out of certain lines of play. Branded will auto lose for example.

Because as far as i can tell, magicians souls effect to send spell and traps to draw works EXTREMELY well to turn off these floodgates that you state are so bad. Most of our best cards are the same attribute/monster type/or can be navigated around by getting rid of it to draw with magicians souls.

That's pretty much my pure DM deck, but I bricked it out with Mahad and the Bond package. I also have Zeus, Ebon, and Norito in the Extra Deck.

Summon limit is awesome when you win die roll. But it becomes pretty useless playing second.
