Great job buddy as always God bless anybody out there looking for a good 2511 ported Red Beard saws I'm telling you they rip I'm sure everybody does good work but red beard I'm telling you I stand by his work
I acquired one of those mini ECHO saws and it goes with me nearly everywhere on the farm. Believe it or not, it has proven extremely valuable in my beaver trapping all winter long. Gaining access to and building trap sights, it really is great. Now at 83 years old, lighter weight helps where mobility is needed or you end up in deep water. Have had my little saw for a least a year and wouldn't trade it for anything. Nick, North West Farmer (Oregon)
I am 73 years old and I credit the 2511 t as one of the reasons I can still climb . At my age the lighter weight really makes a difference . If you're going to buy one be sure to get the new 2511TN, that's the one with the nano chain and it really improves the saws performance. Thanks Jeff , I really enjoy your videos.
@@jeffschroeder9089 Yours is ripping more than mine. The smaller chain really improves the performance of the saw. If I was in charge of echo I'd only sell it with the nano chain or !/4 pitch because it makes that big of a difference.
It fit like a glove And have been subscribed for a while. Love your vids along with August and Damian and that’s the reason I watch because you guys are the BEST
@@jeffschroeder9089 dude! i just typed a long comment about the Pythagorean theorem... sorta. some glitch deleted it. to know if it will fit, get a carpenters level of about three feet, preferably one with the 45 degree bubble. Sight that up to the treetop and you'll know where the top of the tree will fall-- where you're standing. Add maybe 10 feet for cushion etc and you're there. Right triangles, right angles.... carpentry and levels n shit. lol Now if the tree is leaning into the lay, add more space... bc then it's not a right angle anymore. ok.... im a nerd lol
Well that's great you got figured out what was wrong, super easy fix 😅 The only downside is now you're not gonna want to sell it to me 😂😂 Thank you for another one Jeff 👍👊
When a Travis Gillin saw meets up with Schroeder the Shredder - you get shredded! I am curious what happened to make the crook in the tree - that was quite a lean.
Welcome to the club. The 2511 will wake up even more as it breaks in. Also, do you happen to know a dude down there named Eric Hunter? He used to work with me and I just found out he moved to Eagle Point and runs a tree service down there.
The little Echo is a buckin' ripper. Those flops were so flat! Excellent judgement on falling the trunk. Great work.
@@warrengreen-pu2bx thanks bro
Watch and learn. Id love to see the face cut angles on the stem. I want to master the flat hahah. Skills Jeff! That saw looks fun.
@@DLeslie-o6g it’s more in the length of the piece that gets it flat

Yeah I really appreciate my 2511. If I need to step up to a bigger saw I just go to the 261 with a 18" bar. Keep safe out there sir.
I put the west coast saw muffler on mine and she is a screamer! Real impressive for something that doesmt hardly weight anything
