Fun Fact: There's been a revision in the plot from the original VN for this episode. When Iliya says at the end of this video, "I don't care about Saber, but your Archer has piqued my interest", it's because in the original plot, Saber was UNABLE to kill Berserker (as seen here) but it was actually Archer's bow that killed Berserker.
In the original VN, it clearly describes that Berserker was actually killed once by Archer's bow, not Saber. It depicts that Berserker looked damage-less in Shirou/Rin's view, but Berserker was actually killed by Archer's bow and simply revived. Iliya actually says, "I'm surprised that he (Archer) managed to kill Berserker even once."
So it MAY be possible that, even in this anime episode, Archer DID kill Berserker but just looked like it did no damage because Berserker revived again, if it was actually consistent with the original plot (although that would mean Berserker died twice here, not once like in the original plot). Note that Berserker's revival count recovers with time, so by the time Berserker fights Gil he has full life stock.
In original VN it was more like "Archer nuked the place, before Saber managed to land her hit, after Berserker lost balance"
Which is also a very important moment Shirou gonna use as an argument while arguing with Archer at temple.
A really bad and stupid change (among many others) because it makes Shirou look like an idiot.
Specialize to recognize each Servant class:
Saber: Shoot beams
Archer: Shoot NUKE. Or massacar ARROW RAIN
Lancer: DEAD :)) the most tragic class whose just want a fair fight but always get interupted.
Rider: always get used and betrayal ! The class who always face sad ending
Caster: always come up with some crazy and maniac thinking
Berserker: always strong at first, then weak at late
Assassin: Hidden boss. Have most tragic past and always being hated by Fans

Lancer - always good unless very specifically specified.
Archer - unique personality
Assasin - low screen time
Fate/Zero Rider got victorious ending

One of the most hype servants for me. Berserker was a straight monster and I loved him for it
personally think he's one of the least interesting berserkers
He also have an Archer + Avenger form class. Instead of 12 lives he only have 1, but iirc 9 noble phantasm from Archer class and 1 noble phantasm from avenger class. His archer-avenger NPs that I remember is:
The clothe/skin covers his face make him immune to all historical weapons meaning Gilgamesh's Gate of Babylon also didn't work on him(plus he lost his divinity so Chain of Heaven also weak to bind him)
He can summon giant phoenix iirc
His arrow have poison from Poseidon
He can summon Cerberus
Others archer class NP idk, while his avenger NP is copying his opponent NP
So yes even he didn't have multiple lives, he's more op than Berserker form
@@haluyolo7568 he actually does still have multiple lives. one of those abilities he gets from his Np is called "Chiron's immorality" it lets him revive himself but only once. also he doesnt copy other people's Np, he outright steals them. its so strong that even if you killed him the original servant can never get the stolen NP back. they would have to die and get re summoned to get the NP back.

if Illya says she's impressed with Archer while not caring abt Saber anymore, it must be implied that his attack had to at least equal or even exceeded what Saber just did, meaning the arrow actually takes another life of Herc, and he just regenerated back like normal. It's so OP to have 9 lives
Nine Lives is a Noble Phantasm that makes him strike up to a hundred slashes rapidly. On Heracles' Berserker form, it's him rapidly slashing a hundred times with his axe-sword. In his Archer form, it's him rapid firing arrows with his bow.
God Hand is the other Noble Phantasm of Hercules that gives him 12 lives then becomes resistant to what previously killed him. It regenerates 1 life in 3 days.
The sword that Archer made was actually modeled after a noble phantasm sword named "Caladbolg" which coincidentally belonged to the heroic spirit Fergus, who served as a father figure for Cu Chulainn (a.k.a. Lancer in this fate's grail war).
@@LOCALTAHOENJOYER Specifically named Caladbolg II and despite being lower ranked than the original, Archer overloaded it with mana to become a Broken Phantasm.
Illya says that because in the visual novel his arrow is what kills heracles once, saber doesnt harm him in this fight
